Would y'all move over to ko-fi with me?

Patreon becomes increasingly unfriendly to both creators and supporters. It's public knowledge that 5% of monthly income is taken by Patreon, on top of another 5% by Paypal when I decide to withdraw the funds. There's also recent news about adding taxes (I linked the article a few posts below).

Ever since I've semi-returned from hiatus last year, I've been trying to bring my Patreon back on track with monthly content, but 6+ months later, we're still at $50 with people seemingly not being interested in becoming new patrons.

Maybe the problem isn't in my content, but in Patreon itself? I can clearly see why people wouldn't like it. So should we completely move over to ko-fi, which looks like less of an asshole site and adds more and more Patreon-like features? To access vital functions (monthly payments, supporter-only posts, etc) I'll have to pay a flat $6/month, which could be either worse than Patreon if I don't accumulate a decent monthly income ($100 to begin with?) or much better in case my ko-fi is finally popular. So it's a leap of faith..

I dunno guys. Let me hear your opinions, rant or defend either platform to your heart's content :'D It's an open discussion. In any case, I'll have to leave my Patreon up and running even without pledges, simply because every drawing I post online has a watermark link to this site. I'll have to keep it as a redirect thing of sorts.
