The big WIP post.

Firstly, sorry for any perceived radio silence. I've actually spent the past week working on a bunch of new content and I can finally start sharing progress. This includes two new character models and two new animations.

New Character Models

Hanako Arasaka (Cyberpunk 2077)
Status: Complete.

Note: Cyberware is available but not pictured below.

She's one of the main baddies in Cyberpunk 2077 and she's famous for the "Meet Hanako at Embers" meme. But I think the real potential is content involving her, Meredith Stout and Adam Smasher.

Joi (Blade Runner 2049)
Status: Nearing completion.

So this one is a complete wildcard. I have no idea if anyone is interested in this concept, but essentially my plan is to bridge the universes of Blade Runner 2049 with Cyberpunk 2077. They're both Cyberpunk universes and I think it'd make for some interesting content.

On a technical note, I wanted to treat this as an opportunity to up the "realism". I experimented with new approaches to shading and texturing.

New animations

Animation 1
Status: Last stage of development.
Here's a small glimpse at the next animation which will be out pretty soon. The final cut will be around 20 seconds long.

I figured this was also the perfect opportunity for me to research fluid dynamics.

FYI Judy isn't animated in the above gif - i'll get to that when i'm done writing this post.

Animation 2
Status: Early development.

This is a collaborative animation project with another artist, Faceless. There's not much I can say right now other than it's ambitious. We're aiming for a longer runtime (40s-1m), with multiple camera angles and physics systems. 😃

Witcher

For transparency's sake, I had mostly completed two new Witcher renders this week. Ultimately, I decided to shelve them because they weren't up to par. Maybe I'll add them to the next binned render collage on Patreon...
