Added 2024-01-19 16:45:37 +0000 UTCHello! It's been a while since I've put something up here, so I thought I'd take a few moments to talk about my schedule for the next couple of months.
In a nutshell, I've been enjoying my time away from writing and using it to plan, to catch up on reading, to deal with miscellaneous life stuff and generally to reset myself in preparation for my next project.
Notably, I have not compiled the physical manuscripts for Peculiar Soul yet, despite my optimistic projections for having both halves of the manuscript done by the end of 2023. As it turns out, I vastly underestimated my need for a break from writing after such a long period of consistent posts, and have not been able to summon the mental energy to deal with manuscript composition - a task that I frankly don't enjoy, despite its necessity.
That said, I have been nibbling away on the edges of other writing-adjacent things, including the initial bits of my next project. I think my initial plan of beginning to post in February is going to slide back a bit, so I'll be pausing the patreon billing for another month. Annoyingly, I am out of town and Patreon's useless app doesn't have a mechanism for managing this, so it's going to pop back active for a day or two; if anyone is charged during this time period please let me know and I will refund you.
My current plan is to have the first chapter of the story ready to post up here on or near the beginning of March, with a RR launch four weeks (and four chapters) after that point. I may post an advance peek of it earlier if I feel like that's a good idea.
As far as the PS physical copies go, I will try and work on that concurrently during February. I should be receiving the second volume cover art sometime in the next couple of weeks, and will post an update on my progress sometime in the middle of the month.
