Hello patrons old and new. I'm assuming many of you have seen the final youtube version of my latest video one way or another, but for anyone who only watched the "patreon cut" I shared here, you missed an important announcement only included in the public version.

Long story short: before I found unexpected success making Deltarune videos, I was in the middle of developing an independent game as part of a two-man team. I judged that it was worth putting that project completely on hold for the last six-or-so months in order to focus on producing more Deltarune essays, but if it's put off any longer that venture might permanently fall apart.

So basically, as of now, I'm going to be devoting some of my time back to gamedev. Note that this doesn't mean that I won't be producing more videos: on the contrary, I am at this very moment planning a comparative analysis of Undertale and OneShot, and production on that will continue as normal, albeit at a necessarily slower pace due to splitting my time between two pursuits. I believe this change is necessary to avoid burnout from working on non-stop Deltarune content, though, and may end up allowing me to work more efficiently overall due to the decreased drain on my sanity.
