You guys have found some excellent actresses for these roles, and I honestly think they can be proud of the works they have been in.

2022-12-13 11:05:03 +0000 UTCThx for the detailed feedback and thoughtful comments, RJ! It was just as agonizingly hard to exclude some great performances (e.g. Mars in 'An American Powerhouse in Paris") off the list. We are very fortunate stable of great VAs who really bring their roles to life and don't just "read aloud"
2022-12-12 14:11:41 +0000 UTCDespite Internal agonizing, I have to place my vote with Lexa in “The Echs files”. While I’ve several times proclaimed my love for Echs, and what the story is about, I don’t think I often get around to mention how great Lexa is at portraying Carol. I guess that the highest praise I can give essentially is that I can’t imagine anyone besides her playing the role (just like Mark Hamill is the joker, and the late Kevin Conroy were Batman). Lexa expertly, and with professional ease, use her voice to breath life into the character, in turn making Carol seem like more than a character, and more like a real person we are lucky enough to get to follow (on a safe distance). I also want to briefly cover my personal runner ups: Shenny routinely does amazing work in all productions she has featured in (that I’ve listened to). From Metrogirl to Lindsay Palmer, to Millena, Shenny has more than proved that she is comfortable in this genre, and have a good acting range. I wasn’t sure that “The girl who fell” would be something for me at first, but Alexx acting convinced me otherwise. While I at times think her audio quality have dipped slightly (that one might just be me), her energy, temper, and timing has been brilliant. The joy and excitement she has injected into the character have been great and helped sell the character as being *very* enjoyable to follow. Lastly, I want to shout out to Kylie, and the other VAs. They have all done amazing work that deserves recognition. Also a shout out to all the people who have lend their voices to all the other minor roles across productions.
