Youtube Suspension Update, Speaking at School, and New Video Soon

Hello everyone, I hope you have all been well. It's been a while since I posted an update, so I want to fill you guys in what's happened over the last two months, and my new project that is going to come out soon - with a Patreon exclusive preview!

First off, I was invited to speak at the Friends School of Baltimore about Ukrainian geography and the dangers Ukrainian civilians face due to the Russian invasion. First I want to thank the school for allowing me to come speak to classes about the war, and specifically the teacher Alex Brooks who specifically invited me (man to my left in the picture). They allowed me to have basically full discretion in how I discusses these complicated and heavy topics with the middle school kids and high schoolers. I worked pretty hard to make sure not only to make the experience interactive, which my experience streaming definitely helped with, but that I adjusted the maturity of my conversation depending upon the age group. These middle schoolers were incredibly bright, and asked a ton of questions. They also raised money for Ukrainian families in Kherson through a bake sale! I had an amazing time. Talking to these kids, who care so deeply about Ukraine, really did help me wrap my head around the fact that the vast majority of people support Ukraine against this barbaric invasion, and we live in a bubble here on the internet. No matter what you can never have enough of touching grass I suppose. I hope I can do more local stuff like this in the future. 

Now recently, as many of you know, I got a strike on my DylanBurnsLIVE channel and was suspended from posting videos for 7 days due to "covid misinformation". This was strange to me because the video was not even about covid, it was about Andrew Tate being arrested. I was reacting to a debate Destiny had where he debated Sneako on the supposed innocence of the cyber pimp. You can get more information here, but needless to say, the strike was not justified, but they rejected my appeal anyway. This was especially strange because Destiny's original video, were Sneako said the things that got my channel in trouble, was still up on his youtube channel with many more views than my video. Well I have a good update, after 3 days of not being able to post videos, YouTube reversed its decision. I want to thank everyone who brought this to YouTubes attention, because I don't think they would have reversed this decision otherwise. I am worried about trying to cover covid in the future, because these strikes are no joke. Not being able to post videos really negatively affects not only my income, but the income of my staff as well who get a percentage of the profits. This is especially true right now since I am trying to budget for my trip back to Ukraine, which is coming up in a month or two, which is not easy on a freelancers income. That is also why I am so thankful for all of you guys who continue to support my work here on Patreon, and make my work possible. Without this income I make here, I don't know if I could still continue to be a journalist/streamer full time. Thank you :)

My next big project I am going to be releasing is going to be about Elon Musk, Starlink, Ukraine, and controversies surrounding his involvement in the conflict. I am really trying to give Elon a fair shake here, while telling the full story, from how Starlink first got involved in Ukraine, to his proposed peace plan, and what should be done moving forward. I also give you guys original footage from aid workers who delivered Starlink to the Ukrainian military out east, and were shelled in the process. I really try to emphasize the dangers that those who deliver Starlink, and all types of aid, face. You should also see a huge increase in the production value of this video, as we are working with a new editor, and a new editing style, including new maps from the software Geolayers 3.
