Handover: Noemi’s Toscana Rebirth Takes Over The beWilderverse!

Welcome, one and all! We’d say Happy New Year to you all as we put up our first post of 2025 that’s not celebrations or plans, but instead the start of full-on content production, only it’s coming close to the end of January, so let’s get rolling! This is our notification post to say Noemi’s Toscana Rebirth v0.23, the first of 3 in a row, is in full focused production starting today!

But what’s a handover post without a fun picture to pass the baton between games? You know you want it…! Here it is!

“You’ve fallen for my clever trap, Miss Natasha. I knew you would. You’ve postponed my content for the last time! I know you’ve come all this way in search of the villainess Poison Ivy, but little did you think you’d fine me… The Belladonna! Deal with her boys, I’ve got screens to grace finally.”

What a fine villain Noemi makes, huh? We are thrilled with “The Belladona” as her evil name (if you don’t know, it means both nightshade, like Poison Ivy, and Bella Donna, Italian for beautiful woman), but do you think you can come up with a better moniker for her? Give it a try on Discord, if you dare!

Just 1 last thing before we call curtain and get going. We feel it best to remind you of a little something changed in our routines as it affects the next postings. Back in the later part of the last summer we changed how we’re doing our teaser posts and this is the first chance to see it in action. Previously we would post each Teaser (Public, Backer #1 and Backer #2) at intervals of about every 2 weeks and then run out of steam if delays came out. It worked well in a time when 6 weeks was a consistently hit target…

… We’ve changed this and are now going to release the teasers in relation to banked CG progress. Public at ~25% complete, Backer #1 at ~50% complete, Backer #2 at ~75% complete and then the game at full 100%. This will help spread out the helpful words from us and also better foretell progress than the last series have been able to. So we’ll see you again in X days for the Public Teaser! There may be some early warning on Discord so you don’t need to check every day (but thanks if you love Noe enough to be tempted to)!
