Concepting Caroline

Howdy doody, we’re feeling fresh and fruity, how about all of you out there in beWildernaut space? Things are going in the right direction around here once again and we’re seizing on the manic good feelings to reach out and spread some wildness. Let’s have a bit more fun while the suns up, why not? Our last post did some back looking, so how about today we do some… Well, so more back looking, but with a forward-looking twist! Check the title and let’s talk ladies, or 1 in particular!

Ah-ah, but first!

Before we go delving into the more specialized interests of a sort, we do want to say something about the prime-time show, the main course if you will: Agents of Heels. Spirits are picking up and hands are buckling down once again. We’re holding on to hope that we’re rounding the final bend in the days ahead. Given the long wait and our past history we still don’t want to pin a set date on things just yet (not until it’s less a matter of days and almost down to the count of dozens of hours), but our confidence is growing enough to start talking about it like this again. So much so we’ve got the next NTR script shared internally so the pre-production can start to tick over in the back of the mind. That’s close, let us tell you. So yes. Let’s not oversell it, but also lets get our spirits percolate again. “Watch this space”, as they say.

Alrighty then! Let’s hold off on crossing and recrossing our fingers for a few minutes while we’re here and get back on the girl train to funville, si? Since a new release will mean a handover soon after, and in the meantime between then and NTR’s next splash we’ll spend time back on beWilder Island and the semi-finales/finale to our bWW!23/24 contest. While we work towards that, we thought it might be worth sating the wonder of those fans who would like to know where our hostess Caroline came from. Her, remember?

The simple answer is we already had her hanging around. That’s it. Post done! See you again soon…

… Nah, there’s more to the story, but that’s the truth. Our girl didn’t come out of nowhere, she actually predates the contest, though there is reason we decided to make a spot for her on top of our 16 contestants. We’re enjoying building upon the original bWW!18 format with a sportif vibe complete with a colour commentator who can lead the posts in an impartial manner, as well as give us an opportunity to give the losing girls more time in the fans’ eyelines via the old “On the Couch” style interview postgames. When we first conceived running the contest like that, we needed a woman that would fit the position, and using girl #17 just didn’t feel like the way to go, and so Caroline was chosen and given her name both.

Fun Fact – Our spotlighted lady here didn’t get a name until we had to have one for the tournament. We chose Caroline for a reason, beyond being fitting and pretty (but not so pretty it steals a name from a future hottie), and the Brits and Irish among us might know why. There’s a longstanding, famous, once household TV presenter/hostess on our airwaves who is known for her math skills and intelligence, as well as being friendly: Carol Vorderman. In tribute to her, we opted for Caroline. The more you know!

Originally Unshi crafted our girl some years ago with the eye of making her the next leading lady for our Game #3, or at least as a starting point to play with. When AoH started to bend it’s arc towards v1.0, of course ideas would start to bubble up and inspiration would set in, so we made use of it in slower times and built ourselves a few concepts of our next woman. Concepts like these:

Like what you see? We did. Although you might notice she’s looking a little different, which is because they were some early iterations. A decent looking character, but hardly that standout compared to all the games out there already, right? So there were a few other passes.

This it the point in which we spill the beans (if you didn’t know already) and it be known that Nat’s appearance is heavily inspired by Scarlett Johannson (the face, at least), while Noemi has a lot of Jessica Alba in her inspirations, and Caroline isn’t different in that regard. Can you guess who gave her her base coat? If we said “notable film star of the late 80’s and 90’s”? What if we told you her internal shorthand was “JCON” (because she wasn’t Caroline then). Got it yet?

The one and only Jennifer Connelly! A woman many know from their youth with a certain smile. Unshi would be one of them. Can you see the resemblance now?

(Admittedly, we did up the boobs a lot. We have our own design inputs after all, so to speak.)

We did a few alterations since this iteration, but by now we’re close to the woman we know. After getting to this stage, we stopped to let the idea sit. She sat a long while, as it so happened. As much as we like her, it occurs to us that she’s fairly Noe-esque in a sense, would you agree? Nothing wrong with that in many ways, but at the same time, with our next game we want to not only bring more kink and kind to our screens but expand the world of the beWilderverse. We’ve already got a tan, raven-haired leading lady with big tits. Would we like another one? Yes. Would we like another one right away at the expense of other options? No… At least we can’t say we want to close off those options yet. Nat’s also big up top… Is it time for a smaller girl and let the supporting cast makeup the cleavage deficit? Maybe it’s time for a shorter girl? Maybe we keep an open mind towards Asian and darker skin women, muscle mommies and blonde bombshells?

The only thing we took away for sure was it’s too early to tell what we want for sure. A lot will be dictated by the premise after all, and then as it is now, it’s still too far from seeing the last of Agents of Heels to take our eyes off the ball there and really drill down. You can see we have our types and tastes between the Noe’s and the Caroline’s, but there’s a lot out there we also still want to nibble on if not wolf down…

… And so, that’s how Caroline came to be our bWW! hostess, we had her and we had a spotlight to fill, so why not? It gave us a chance to put her in front of actual fan eyes and get feedback, as well as to see her in various states. We’re glad we did too, because whatever waning we went through with her over the years since her first concepts, we’re back to hankering for looks at her. She might or might not be a main girl one day down the line but she may yet find herself a better job than non-canon hostess, one that could earn her the rights to a spot in a future tournament herself.
