NTR v0.22 Backer Teaser #1 – Dour Kriem (and More)

… Howdy there, fans and beWildernauts! It’s been a couple weeks’ while since we last checked in with you about the current versionings, so today’s the day we’re back to give a little chat your way! We’re channelling our inner Kriem, or we were for a moment enough to grab a little teaser looksee her way, as she’s frightfully few on words for our tastes given it’s teaser day! So let’s see what’s coming ahead before we take a little different approach from the backer teasers as we usually do to talk a touch about process for once. Eh? See you below, then!

Wow. It seems Kriem can express more than just rage with those teary brown eyes, huh? Damn… Poor girl needs a real hug and she might just get one at that. But hey, we’re returning to Clair’s parlour again, isn’t that something to smile about? Don’t worry, Noe’ll think of something to have the girls come out on top… Won’t she? She has to… For Team Noe!

And speaking of things to smile about, yes, that is a new outfit on Noemi back there. That makes 2 for this version, *ooohhh*… In fact, she’s now reached a milestone of 20 outfits to her name in the game! Well… That is if you count her black bolero and tank original as 2 outfits when it’s on and off… And maybe another jacket on and off… and naked as an outfit… Ok! 17! She’s up to 17 outfits, but the important part is the “and counting”! Lovely!



Alrighty then! Teasing aside now, it’s time for a little pleasing. Or we hope as such, anyways. Let’s talk progress and release times.

Things are going pretty well, with CGs getting put through the process at a steady pace daily. We’ve already got a scene and a half done of Kriem’s double punch, which together is a little more than half the content (not including stretch gameplays in the total), so we’re pretty much getting to the hump in order to get over it. We expect by next week to be on the downslope, in the good way, like a bobsled on our way to the release at the bottom. Still, though we’re still hoping to add in the extra gameplays talked about in our Public Teaser, the image-per-day to-do ratio when including them is starting to climb a little high for our liking, and that’s the best indicator we can point to that’ll tell us if we’ll reach a deadline in time, so we’ll keep watching that and check back in as we said we would come Backer Teaser #2 next week or shortly thereafter as to just how big the version will be finally. That being said, we’re still looking good for a very end of Feb to end of first week of March release window, even if we end up having to cut the extras back some to do it. That’s all within our goals and Roadmap’s built-in cushion’s ability to absorb without changing any longer-term plans for the year. Sweetness.


Speaking about those extras and version length, this one will be a touch on the larger side regardless. The minimum we’re happy to release with this version if it comes to that is 3 scenes and 4 new gameplays in the new activity’s Team Bonding link. When it comes to creating versions, we usually aim for 70-80 CGs per release, though almost all the time we’ve been nipping or even topping that upper bound by a little. Sure, this doesn’t sound a lot, but you’ve already seen the amount of storytelling and detail that goes into each of them, them all being an important stepping stone in a scene’s progression/context. Our games aren’t the kind where you spend 40 clicks having breakfast staring PoV at your Mother and Sister, getting 30 near identical images of a blank table with plated eggs in the process, so you know what we mean. Still, we’re pushing for more, and this version is going to end up minimum 89 CGs, making it 10% bigger than usual standards by default. The reason for this is also a really “swell” one…

… We’ve been making sure to swell our x-rated scenes to be oh so more fulfilling, something you’ll see more in the future as this version’s only just a halfway there step and it’s still packing. For a long time we tried to keep scenes to about an average of 20 CGs or so, so that we could keep versions at 3-4 new scenes a version, but that’s not been the most satisfying in practice. We’ll point to the Damon arc Office scene as a prime example (FYI it’s our plans to expand this scene in future, when we can). It takes ~10 CGs to properly story the scene, both in setting up the sex and furthering the arc overall, and then a little outro after, 2-3 CGs… leaving the stuff we want the most squeezed in the middle. We tried to do better, see the Sal arc Calman dinner scene, with more x-rated shots, but that one also needed a lot of story too (decisions aside). Going forward, you’ll start to notice that x-rated scenes that come after the decision points will be closer to an average of ~40 CGs, still with the same story intro and outro, but with a lot more action in the middle, sometimes as much as 15-20 pics… *Licking lips*…


… Ok, so we might be getting a bit ahead of ourselves telling you all this today as it’s still something we’re ramping up to, but you’ll be seeing content closer to the Sal’s Calman scene than the Damon Office scene in this version and as much as possible here beyond. Also, you can see now why we want to get our feet firmly at 100+ CGs per version as soon as we can to be able to handle these bigger scenes and keep going with 3 scenes and gameplays per version.

*Phew*…! So… Kriem’s sad, huh? Noemi’s got her tights on and Clair might just be looking to get her hands on or in those tights too? We think that’s what we were originally talking about… Right? Well, consider yourself rightly teased then, and a part of the process now too! We’ll see you back her for Tease #2 in 7-10 days, but until then…
