Howdy rowdy visitors to beWilder Island! I’m Caroline, back again wit’ch y’all… *Tssk*. Honestly, I’m not sure a faux southern accent really suits me after all… I tried, ok? Can we scrap that talk about having me sport a pair of daisy duke’s now…? We’ll talk later, yeah? Right now I’ve got a match up to talk through and… well, wow… what a match it was. I’m still feeling the ground shake beneath my feet even out here on the open ocean isle, that’s how big the day’s news is to the beWilderverse. We expected some quaking given who it was that’s finally been pit against each other, but oh damn! We were not expecting a… Well, let’s talk about it with our latest interviewee since we’ve got such a big-name dame right here with me. Are you ready?

Time to make the most of a rarified protagonist on the seats next to me! First the synopsis though, as we do it around here.

We’re now 8 bouts down in this contest of 16, with as many girls left to match, all of them winners now. Yes, Round 1 is over as we reach the halfway point, and from here on it’ll be returning faces to grace our matches as we go deeper with them all as your hand picked fan favourites. But before we break into Round 2 we’ve got a few big things to do, the first of which is seeing our last of the 8 losers out the door. For those not already in the know, Noemi has beat Natasha mano-a-mano, increasing the branch baring her name’s standing to 3 wild women to AoH’s 5, and more headline making, sending our reigning #2 home for the rest of this contest. Natasha Romanov is out, with me on the couch right now, leaving open the middle spot on the podium for anyone’s taking… Well, any of the 8 remaining women. For her efforts, Noemi will continue her streak of carrying the NTR flag passed the opening round, with a victorious grin on her face too because what seemed like the “Fight of the Century” was turned into a smashing for the record books, just about… So without further ado, let’s get this mic under somebody else’s nose for a while and see what she thinks. Natasha?

Hello. I’d say it’s nice to be here, but we all know it isn’t. As you can see, I’ve got places to be now that I’m not needed here, and more important things to do, so if you could make this somewhat fast paced, I’d appreciate it. I’ve a military jet to catch.

So you are a little prickly about losing then. That’s alright, you wouldn’t be the first. Must be hard to be ejected, especially in the first half of the contest, I… Well, I wouldn’t know firsthand myself, but a girl’s got to figure.

It’s not easy, no, but I wouldn’t say I’m “prickly” about anything. I’m still just absorbing the situation and reassessing like basic training dictates… It’s just taking me longer than I figured, same as the rest of you it seems. I’ll be fine though, don’t worry.

We won’t… How about we talk it through a little and help each other through the moment. We’ll start at the top. Sounds right, right? The final scores were an astounding 22-7 against you, making this an official walkover, whitewash, spanking… Whichever term you prefer to use, it was indeed that. Care to weigh in?

Not really, but since I’m here and I have to… It was an exceedingly tough match. That much is self-evident. I knew it would be a struggle, I just assumed that would be the case for both of us not just me. When Noemi jumped out to a 8-0 lead in the first few minutes I wasn’t exactly worried given I knew there were days left for the AoH fans to find the time for me, but it seems that just never happened.

I’ll give fair dues to Noemi, she clearly earned her spot in the quarterfinals again, though given she’s gotten the most screen time since the last contest it should only be expected-

That’s true. The only other woman to get comparable time is… Well, you…

-… Thank you… As I was saying, she was bound for the next round if she’d been up against anyone else but me, and I dare say I was too in the same circumstances… But we got each other and it is what it is. Maybe she just wanted it more. She is a real competitive hot head.

So you’re saying you weren’t all that interested in competing for the crown then? Am I reading into your words right?

Sure. If that’s what you want to take away. I’m not going to say this whole contest thing is just fun and games with nothing of substance to it, I know you have all the records from bWW!18 to contradict me if even tried, and I have been waiting for the chance to set the record straight on that last final’s outcome…

… But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. I treat this thing as a test of soft skills of seduction and charisma, something to help me keep my skills polished between missions on the beWilderverse scale, but when’s all said and done, when the world routinely rests on your shoulders you don’t worry about contests, games or worry if you’ve got it. You do.

*Hrmm*… I guess that is true. Again, I wouldn’t know from experience myself, I think only you here would, so we’ll believe you of course. That being the case though, you did still lose. Does that mean Noemi should become the next top agent at Heels…?

… Ok, forget that. Moving on… I do have another piece of bad news about your performance to tease out between you and I while you’re here, so let’s rip that band-aid off now since you brought up bWW!18 records. Coming into this contest we had 8 previous official bWW! head-to-heads in the history books, not counting the Battle of the Babes between Lara and Raven since, and of those we of course have been keeping track the Top 3 Steamrolls… Another term for you there… Sorry…

… As I was saying. You had a phenomenal run in bWW!18, with the 2 of 3 matches you won topping that list and setting high expectations for a blowout. You beat Kriem out by 15 votes. 24-9, I talked to her about that this year FYI, and even more of a whooping, beat Mystique by a full 19, 29-10… That said, now that we’re only halfway through bWW!23 and not only are your records being knocked off the top of the list, came very close to being back on it yourself only on the flip side with Noemi beating you by 17, if not for some last hours and minutes votes to take it back to only 15. Gwen now tops the Top 3 after topping Beth by 21 votes, and Frankie’s ousting of Kate with a lead of 18 knocks Kriem’s shame off that list. With 8 more matches to play, including now 5 women to pull in over 20 votes in their opening show, is it only a matter of time before your name’s not in the talk at all?

Finally got to your question I see. I was about to take a nap. Are you legitimately asking me that or are you just using me as a prop to pitch a “beWilder’s Book of ‘Verse Records”? Or is it you are just rubbing it in at this point?

The main thing is to note that of all the performances in all the contests thus far, I’m still holding the record for most votes in a match with that 29, and the closest of anyone to ever reach 30 votes in a bout. We’ll see if that still stands after the coming 8 matches, but I’m confident that it will since all the weak links are off the dance cards ahead.

That’s not the answer I was expecting, but I can’t say that’s not still true, so well done turning it around on me. For the record, no I wasn’t trying to rub it in, but at the same time it’s not every day we get a fall like yours. It’s got to be talked about. We’re still wide-eyed around here.

You shouldn’t be. It’s a basic rule of my trade to expect the unexpected at all times. You should have been prepared for any semi-reasonable outcome and since there were only 2 to be had here…

Whoa-whoa! Don’t get the wrong idea, we were prepared for the fact it could have been you or Noemi either here with me today, but the boys upstairs are on record a few times now as expecting this to be a coin flip’s chance for either of you. Anyone who thought this would be a more than a 3-to-1 rout, at times looking like it’d finish closer to 5-to-1, is lying, even you.

… Maybe so…

Alright, one last bit of business on the matter of your surprising score before we let it go and do the absorbing of the feelings off screen for a while. Deal? This one might just sting a little bit though…

Well, the good news to start is that you beat Beth. That’s… That’s not nothing given the circumstances, even if it was at one point thought to be a given… However, we do have to nail down exactly where on the list your performance has landed you. Once again, I’m just laying the facts down here, but up until the last 90 minutes of the polls staying open, we thought we’d be doing what we did with Alice here and breaking a tie between you and Kate officially… With those 2 extra votes piling on you’ve fully secured 14th place for yourself… So… Glass half full or half empty there, you think?

That I beat Kate free and clear or that I was contesting the same bottom slot a Kate to begin with?

For what it’s worth, I like Kate. She’s fun and unabashed. Got a hint of that spark of what it takes to grow up to be like me, and I’m not talking about red hair. We both got tough draws and lost hard, so I don’t believe either of us really represent the bottom rungs. That being the case, it’s also like I said, she still has a lot of growing up to do. Past her late teens and into her 20’s and actual womanhood. There should’ve never been a hint at a parity contest between her and I unless we were officially paired in a match… So no, I’m not happy about that, or about 14th of 16… It just goes to show you the strength of my opponent this time.

Quite possibly. If that’s your explanation though, what’s your take on Lara getting the same amount of votes as Noemi in Round 1, but her opponent getting twice your votes with 14? Same reasoning…?

… You really are pushing it now. You understand I don’t need my guns or my suit to make you take back those words…

… *Errr*… Once again, what you say is true… *Nervous laugh*… Sorry, I’m just… Well… Ok, I’ll stop. I don’t want the job as the next protagonist that much to actually piss you off… Before we move on, I have been asked to share official congratulations to both Kelsey and Raven who now that Round 1 is over, have secured the Top 10 spots 9th and 10th now, for what that matters… It doesn’t matter, really… 14th’s good too…

… Alright then. We can put all that behind us, right? We’re just about wrapped on the match-focused part of the day spent together. The only thing I’ll say to the top agent of Heels as myself being an agent of beWilder, or a rep at the very least, that we do feel the contest will miss you and your influence. Truly. Those are the rules of Single Eliminations though, 1 loss is all it takes and we’ll have a new #2 come the end of it all.

Now then, let’s get into a little more personal and forward-looking stuff, yeah? We’ve actually got Natasha Romanov on the couch right now, so let’s get you talking. What’s next for the woman who starting all this?

If you’re asking about my work directly, you already know I’m not going to talk about it. What kind of agent would I be to spill state secrets, especially those about missions already in progress. AoH will continue on and you’ll see for yourself in short order, so let’s leave that at that.

If you’re asking me about what may or may not come next? That’s something different.

That’s fair, given the state of play for AoH, so let’s try something a little different with you over the others, yes? Rather than ask where you’ll be next, let’s talk about what you’d like to see next. If you got to choose the next big thing to come to the beWilderverse that you would pass the baton onto, what would it be?

Interesting… *Hrrm*… This could go a lot of ways, actually. I think this might be a longer conversation for a far-off future when AoH gets a full post-game of it’s own, in retrospective, but I suppose I can give you a taster of my own personal feelings… And maybe a little titbit or two…

… I’ll tell you now, I know there has long been ideas put to paper for an “Agents of Heels 2” of sorts, or at least a second game to our branch of the beWilderverse, which I would like. There’s no such thing as a legacy if nobody’s carrying it on. They got as far as nailing down a new heroine to take up my mantle for a while, and to undergo her own special corruption trials thanks to her position. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”, and that goes double for superpowers…

Seriously…? Will you tell us who they are?

What? Come on! You can’t just tease us like that! You have to give us something? Anything! This is big news.

Yes, I can. See, I can tease you to tears just as well as you can try it on me with the scores and the “whitewash / walkover “ etc. etc… Enjoy. *Wicked smile*.

Please, I’m sorry about that, really I am! Come on… Come on! Just one hint of a scoop, please. If you don’t I’ll just have to start hounding you with guesses.

Don’t… It’s not even worth it. Those ideas only got as far as game outlines, so the devs could make sure my game’s ends could be steered in the general direction they’d like if they were to pick up this idea. That’s why if you pay attention you can see some of the lore needed being pockmarked in my content, a few names being dropped and all that, but that’s the extent of the plans for any AoH2 right now. It’s not happening any time soon, and all trends should leave anyone watching even moderately closely that going straight into another full parody game right after my Misadventures isn’t the likely way of things.

It’s not like it was back when I started out, when it wasn’t even beWilder, just 1 guy with plans that turned out to be bigger than he alone could handle. Now it’s a pair’s game. Original content is popular and on the rise, obviously. The world is more than my NYC, it’s a 2 city job now. There’s a lot of beWilderverse in the middle between AoH and NTR that’s worth filling in to actually get a real feeling of a “shared world” between games rather than 2 realms touching cheeks on occasion. Going back to the question you asked me, I’d sign off on that. I’d be happy to hand over to a game that builds on the city I’ve help secure and defend, with a health amount of OC content at it’s focus. That’s where the eyes towards the future should be looking, if anyone up there leading these projects is smart at all.

Right… OC Content. I can get behind that personally… *Nervous grin*… One can hope. Before I let things go though, you said something that caught my attention even as you refused to give up a real name for us. “Superpowers”. I’m going to hazard a guess and say it’s Raven who you might be talking about. It is, isn’t it? There’s a near unhealthy obsession with her for one of the guys speaking in my ear, so much so she’s in this competition as an “NTR Wildcard”…

Yeah, and look what good that did her, right? Shattered a few perceptions within the fandom that could have been left alone. Do you really think the 10th place girl would get first crack at the next leading role over 9 more popular options… Well, Dyana actually got less votes, but still, 8 more popular options. Plus I did say OC will likely be the next up. I’d bet all my skills and job perks on it.

That being said, it’s not like Raven’s not got potential for headlining. I think she’d suit taking on my game’s narrative style of 3 Splits in Personality, don’t you think. She’d be good in the styles of Struggling Lusting Heroine, Submissive Succubus and Domineering Demon Chick, right? Really take the Good, Corrupt and Bad themes and run with them now that the guys have actually had some practice at it and can do it better than they did with me.

But once again, even though I’d hand over to that without much fighting it, it’s not exactly what the world needs now. It’s probably more of a wish than even an aspiration at this point, until the guys can get a whole lot more output or manpower to take on such a passion project, even as a beWilder game.

… Uh-huh… You’re still just teasing us, aren’t you? Now don’t I feel the fool… What about you though? I notice no mention of you or Heels turning up in any of these ideas or whatever you’d call them. Are you trying to tell us that this could be the last we see of you and Heels for a very long time, if at all, after AoH? Huh… Hard to gauge how I actually feel to hear that out loud…

No, that’s not what I’m saying. Not exactly. Heels as an agency? That’s a different story. It remains to be seen if that’ll even be standing come the canon ending of my time in the spotlight, or maybe it’ll come in a whole new form? Like I said, we’ll see for ourselves eventually.

Me? Maybe I’ll have my chances to stick around and show my face and assets, if in a scaled back amount, even if the next is 95% OC or more… I’ve got my methods after all. With more time on my hands, who knows what ways I might just turn up under people’s noses? Maybe… Then again, maybe I won’t. I know even the beWilder boys want more of me, but everything still remains to be set into motion and until it is… And if there ever is an AoH2, I’m pretty sure I’ll have an outsized part there, be it as a Good, Bad or Corrupt influence. *Smirk*. Don’t get your hopes up just yet though, it’s still as I was saying earlier. So many opportunities out there, and what grand tall standing tree has only 2 branches to it? That’s all I’ve got to say on the matter now. That’s all 7 votes gets you. Can you imagine what I’d be telling you if I’d gotten 14? *Teasing smile*.

This is more than very interesting, but you’ve got to give us a little bit more… Please? Can you give us and idea of when we’d be wise to start expecting more of this talk of future games more regularly…?

Not for a long time yet. Got to finish AoH first, right? And then I hear there’ll be plenty of time spent on Noemi before anything is even kicked off into the pre-production phase, let alone the announcement phase. Could be a few years yet… Sorry. Looks like I’ll be holding onto that baton of protagonist for some time yet, huh? Noemi too… and nobody can say she hasn’t earned a real focus-in for a while as the only active game once I’m done telling my story. Not with a win over me like that.

*Sigh*… So what we’ve learned here today is… Maybe there’ll be an AoH 2, but not anytime soon, and probably not at all as things stand, but it would be nice, and it won’t be about Raven as she’s a whole other game that isn’t happening though it sure would like to, but it’s far too soon to even consider any Game 3, and regardless we might see some future form of you Natasha anyway, but who knows for sure… Did I get that right? *Urrgh* My head is spinning… Let’s just move on to my next question and forget I ever tried to get an answer this far out ahead of our skis… Yikes…

… Back to the contest again, now that the podium is officially going to get a shuffle if not a whole recasting, as the now former #2-to-be, which of the 8 winning girls do you put your weight behind to win it all?

Of all the decisions I’ve had to personally make over the years, this one might be in my own Top 3… Really hard to say.

I can’t bring myself to say either Lara or Noemi right off. Losses don’t heal overnight or even over 5 years… Though both would clearly be good bets. Cat is also still in the mix, and as a sometimes friend sometimes rival it’s also not so easy to just give her my support in my stead, you understand. There’s also 3 Ivyspawn in the mix that some would say I have a relation to… “Sisters” might be a stretch, but yeah… But that’d leave me with an airhead and the oldest-yet-least-accomplished among us as my options. *Tsk*.

Going with my gut, I’m going to say Cat. Selina, to be specific. Even though I don’t think I could stand her mocking, Cheshire-cat smile coming at me from under that cowl I gave her for too long, at least if it’s her it’ll mean giving at least Lara a ticket home along the way. She may be affiliated with Heels, but she’s never been one of us, and a little petty showing up isn’t beneath me when I’m off the clock. Plus, bringing the crown into the fold of my game’s character’s is the best I can hope for now… Until I come back and take it for myself someday. Cat can keep it safe for me until then. If anyone loves their jewels enough to hold them tight it’s Cat.

The field keep on narrowing, so it’s only natural it’s getting harder and harder to pick a winner, but now we have yours… Pretty much… Lucky Cat.

Well then, that pretty much covers all we can talk about and still keep this from becoming a novella, so as much as I’d love to delve into so much more and everything with it, it’s time we wrap things up for now. Don’t mind if I do. I’ve been told that real action like on my missions or any general kind of violence isn’t fit for this kind of thing, which limits my options on what I can be the judge for really, but I do have something that the other girls here don’t. I’ve amassed quite the collection of revealing red dresses…  My red cocktail dress, the rose mesh body suit from the yacht, the long flowing one from my side jaunt with Cat when we played the bar’s backroom, to name but a few… I’m thinking I’ll “loan” one to Caroline to parade around for us in.

Oh yes! Let’s not forget the saucy number you wore to your meeting with Mr. Maeda before signing up for a shift with him. *Drool*. I was wondering if I could get a loan of that one myself for No-… We’ll talk later…

… Forget that one. That’s mine… Sentimental reasons. Let’s leave it at that. Besides, it’s been ripped at the back. The one I was thinking of is scooped out at the front. The Maiden of the East was what I had in mind. For those at home, that’s the oriental lace number I wore for my first dance at Club Kaikaku… I was thinking she can attempt to best my performance then for the cameras, lap dance and grabbing hands included, to see if she has any seduction agent in her if she really wants to play in the big leagues like us protagonists.

… *Eehhh*… I don’t have any details on this “Maiden of the East” outfit in my contest notes. Or that performance Natasha did… Why don’t I have any notes? Please, please tell me it’s because they weren’t noteworthy…? P-Please…? And what’s this about “lowering your bar”? I only scrapped under the challenge threshold this time by 1 vote… Just 1… I can’t have it going any lower or I’ll have to…! *Gulp*. Don’t worry, Caroline, don’t worry… Round 2 is still some time off…

With that we close the book on Round 1, with all the ups and downs and eliminations that came with it. It’s been exiting to watch and there’s been a few wows along the way, making us especially giddy to see the winners come back to defend their chances in a whole new set of bouts! The girls have all proved there are Survivors, and so the next Round will be all about lives of Leisure on beWilder Island! It won’t all be fun times though, as we saw today all losses are real, and 4 of our remaining 8 are but 1 of those away from being sent home as well. For that risk, however, comes greater rewards, as wins start to mean prizes, or at least one last step away from more than just prestige! We’re talking actual content now!

So what’s next for bWW!23/24? Glad you asked! For one, we’ll officially be taking a refreshed hiatus for a few weeks, as we put the fun in the sun away and turn all focus to the already in progress game release in the works. Once we’ve seen NTR’s v0.22 posted, we’ll be back to see more girls getting sandy and wet in March. Before we get back to matches however, our first return will be the first round-break Winner’s Week… We’ve seen the losers with each of the postgames, time we see the winners rewarded, right? Each girl will show us an insight into how she’s been spending the time between now and then among the company of other quarterfinalists, as we also hype up the next 4 battles ahead each and take a look at newly slotted brackets. Might even have an extra surprise in store then too? We’ll see!
