Agents of Heels v0.25 – News, Progress, and Delays (Again).

Hey-ho fans and friend-os, back again we are to give a heads up on what’s going down. We regret to inform you (like y’all don’t know already) that we’ve not got our Natasha’s latest version yet in hand, but fret not, we’re on the verge of the splurge right now. This post is to be a flying visit, quick and to the point, so we can spent the time getting her done in the next couple of days, but hey, though we’ve been active and chatty about progress on our Discord already, it’s important to keep the official page and those watching her informed just the same, eh? Let’s give it a go, so.

We’re all content complete and readying to see it send out in the coming days. It’s our hopes to be having that, having a short breather afterwards, and having our handover back to Noemi (and the post pic fun that we always have doing so) all before the week’s up. There’re two main reasons where not their just yet (again), one from each of us, but while one doesn’t matter so much in the grand scheme, the other is some good news we can all sigh and settle for we reckon. The first is simply Unshi’s trip home took a lot more out of him than was expected, even for such a short trip. It meant (note the past tense) that he was pulled a little thin for the days after. The better reason, is that we took a look at one of our path endings and decided that it needed one more boot to the butt ot really finish well… Let us put it this way…

… Y’all ever seen The Sopranos? The mafia show from the HBO, some time back? And you remember the big stink about how it ended, as to quote one Stewie Griffin, “… With a F*nkin ‘Cut to black’!”… Well, it sort of felt a bit like that, and we couldn't have it that way. We decided an extra couple days to add the proper finish, complete with action, adrenalin and some exposing clothes, to make sure it got it’s proper ending (which will be a beginning to another version later too, by the way). Y’all can blame it on Spook there, if anyone. Storytellers be always wanting more.

Anyway, the status is thusly. We’ve taken on those extra CGs, we’ve made them, written them, cleaned them up and sent them in with all the rest of the texts. We’re officially content complete and into the Post-Production phase well and truly. As it was brought up and pointed out last night on our Discord, we’re actually looking at our biggest version in many respects, with 40% more art and 80% more texts in this one compared to a usual landing, it’s become obvious we’ll need about twice the time to get them all in engine and in working order. That’s 1.5-2 days turned 3-4, which is why it’s nearly mid-week again and we’re still working at it. We expect that we’ll only be at it a couple more days, bug fixes going well that is, so next time we’re back will be to tackle our release posting at last. Don’t take our word for it though, simply hold on tight and let us prove it right this time.

That’s really it. There’s only one other thing to really say and that’s a big tease, so should we even say it? We’ll get back to it, knowing now it’s all in the realm of merging the goodness so we can see it all unfold in sexy game form like we all want it. Meanwhile, we’ll also be having the now hands-freed Spook get Noemi all warm for us, she’s up next and she’s got her orders’ notebook raring to go, she does. Alright, see you soon… Soon we say…!
