Agents of Heels v0.22 Backer Teaser #2 – A New Dawn, An Ominous Day.

Good mornin’, beWildernauts! Even those in the dark of night right now! A new day is dawning in the beWilderverse, but much as the old housewife’s rhyme goes “A red sky in the morning is a shepherds warning”, and there’s plenty to be on tenterhooks to see, feel and be wild for! Yes, we’re that much further in to our AoH release and we can almost taste it, so let’s get our teaser on while we may!

The rising sun, a full moon, and the star of the show. Is there any better natural sight that this? Ah, but all is not so tranquil as it seems, as the early morning peace is much like the calm before the storm, and Nat’s already got the call in to say it’s going to be one Hell of a day. It may even be the last sunrise that some will ever see…

Natasha’s got the call in, the winds are changing and even the sky itself is warning her that blood red is the colour of the day. It’s all coming to a climax, but we do still have plenty of Agent action left before we start putting our 1’s before our decimals when it comes to versions, rest assured.

Speaking of versions, let’s give you the lowdown on this one. We’re still hard at work polishing off the scenes we laid out in the Public Tease, making them the best we can with what time we’ve got and for one in particular, putting the pepper in right so it’s as hot as it deserves to be for a fan favourite chain of events. We’re at the stage where we’ve got to prioritize what we can get in and still make quality, as we really don’t want to be pushing too far into July with this… Not only because we want Noemi to get a fair shake in her own month and the July fans to be taken care of right, but also because we’re already looking to August and what more awesome Nat action we can get sooner and sexier too. So with that in mind, our current plans are this:

- We’re dead set on getting the Bum scene made and covered, since it’s what people really want before we take a turn towards the end, and we want it to be good too. This is a Corrupt Nat only type scene, so it’ll pop, but we want a bit more on the plate than just that.

- Kate’s All Nat’s scene is out next priority for a few reasons. It’s for all Nat’s, it’s a remnant to the part we just finished and the sooner we cap it the better, it’s got some good things to say for us and the longer intentions one of our top OC characters has, and also it’s simple and short so it’s good to get in there.

- Our Act 1 Redos, this time including both Nat’s first visit to Maeda’s club and all of Mission 1 (plus some smaller pieces too), are not such a high priority, but, they’re already done so bravo, that’ll be part of the release too!

- Now into the harder area… We expect and will be pushing hard to get Good Nat on the board with her preamble build up to Mission #3. Today’s teaser is from that scene, that’s how much we want to be sure it’s included, and all the Scouty fun that’ll be with it. It’ll be a squeeze, but we should have something to show. Please know, that when starting this scene, Good Nat players will now be on the direct path to the end-game, and there’s no stops on this train.

- After that, if time permits, we’ll give Bad Nat the same treatment. We’d like to balance out the content so her fans get something, but also since the Corrupt Nat Mission Start is by far the most complex in terms of variables, we don’t want to rush it into a timeframe we can only scratch the surface with, in terms of getting it to quality. In fact, it may be a bit much to get Bad Nat to the point it’s half ready, let alone full, so this one is the space to watch. If at all possible, we will, but time will tell. Our next public teaser early next week will have us in a better place production wise to be able to say one way or another, so look out for that.

- Expect to see the Bum, Kate, and Good Nat’s Mission lead in, featuring Scout of course. Check back in our next teaser for Bad Nat’s status. Corrupt Nat’s Mission #3 will begin next version.

Alrighty then, last thing to dangle under you noses and get you back in the hyper space… When’s the big day then, huh? Is it still what we said before? Pretty much, yep. We said we’re aiming for the end of the first week in July at the latest, and we’re going to stick with it. Our target is the 7th (that’s just 5 or so days from now), but given how tight our listed priorities above are, if post-production / testing don’t go slipstream smoothly, it may be a day or so more. Beyond that though, that’s our line in the sand. We want to be back in Philly in time for their early month special menu, with enough runway to give another update this month a fair shot.
