[Snap Poll: Quick Response Needed] Delay Incoming: Sooner Release or All Sal Content?

Hey there beWildernauts, we’ve got a question to put to you all and sadly time is of the essence, so we’ll make it quick and dive right on in.

(P.S. We’re making this a post on here so all our supporters can participate. We previously did this kind of thing on our Discord as it is instant, but you can still follow along there for more current news as we press on)

Today is our planned release day for Noemi, but as it stands right now as we enter the last 12-hour stretch, we’re wrapping up our 4th scene and still have a lot to do to make it to a tangible release. A few hours of production, some more rendering, then engine work and Post-production and testing still to do… As you can plainly tell, we’re not going to make it on time tonight.

That sucks hard and we know it. The whys of the delay are for once a perhaps positive development in fact, but that’s more something that can be shared on Discord when things are less time sensitive, as what matters right now is getting done, right? To that effect, we have a question to put to you all, and although we feel like we know the answer already we want to be sure to give you all a chance to have your say on it as our supportive community. 

Here’s the situation:

We’re wrapping up all Asana content for this build overnight and half of the Sal content is already in the bag. We are going to be doing an extra thorough job of testing all our files and scenes thanks to our laptop issues last week (see the last teaser) so there is no unexpected problems after building, and we’ll be carrying out our Post-Production work tomorrow morning-evening. We can have a release of most of our promised content (80~%) from the Public Teaser ready to send out by Tuesday night to Wednesday morning… or…

… Since we have the Pre-production and even a few CGs on the last Sal scene already covered, we can take the extra day or two to get it all finished up and shipped as originally promised, all 100%. That means we’re looking at a release with all the Sal content closer to Wednesday night – Thursday evening if we take that route.

So that’s our question in a nutshell. What do you fans want? A slightly smaller version sooner, or all the Sal content with an extra day or two’s wait?

Vote on the poll below, asap! We’ll keep it open until Tuesday at Noon (GMT) as that’s the latest we can, by then it’ll be about time to start readying for the first option’s release later that day unless it’s the full Sal people want.

Note: As you all may have noticed, both options push our release into March, which is something we accounted for already. All February Daring fans have been noted, and those who don’t continue into March will get links sent out to them via message as usual, regardless of which options the fans vote for. So feel free you vote for which you’d like freely if that affects you personally.
