Anniversary: Game Plans 2021!

Hello there one and all! It’s another post in our special anniversary series, at last, and one we think you’re all going to like indeed. Buckle up some because it’s going to be a bit of a long one. Are you ready?


Alright! Since it’s a new year both for all of us and the beWilderverse too, we thought it a prime time to do a little road-mapping with y’all, get a shot of excitement for the months ahead of us and lay out something we can all be thrilled to be a part of. We’ll say now though, nothing is set in stone yet, there’s always room for changes and audibles as needed, but should everything go well from where we’re standing currently, what we say here today is what we’ll be happy to see happen come by our next year’s birthday celebrations.

So, let’s start! First up, Agent of Heels!

Agents of Heels: Misadventures of Agent Romanov 2021 Plans

Let’s start off with what we’ve been up to lately, as it leads to where we’re going. In 2020 we finished off most of the game’s main story. All we have left on that front is the big finale of Mission #3, to cap out the game and lead it home, in a style much like the previous missions before it. Upon getting there, we switched to filling out the side content and events along the way, the less serious and more frivolously sexy things like playing with Nat’s neighbours and Catwoman. That’s where we’ve been for the last few versions.


For 2021, our plans are pretty simple, finish what side-content is left on our plate, finish Mission #3, and with it finish the game. That’s it, that’s our plan in a nutshell.


We have plenty of ideas for side content events, between all the characters in Nat’s public and secret life spheres, too many to do all of them in fact. It’s time that we start reeling in some of those possibilities however as we look to what will fit in this game, and what’s better to devote to a later instalment in the series, should that come, and if not, what could be part and parcel of even more beWilder bodies of work. We’ve still got ideas for Malik and Sam, Maeda (outside of the main story), Ivy (also outside of the story), and other minor people like the park bum and Swat Team 7… All of which will have to wait for another outing in Heels, or at least until we’ve cleared the must have content for a finish. With bringing the game to an end within this year in mind, we’ve decided to move right into Mission #3 and endings after Kate’s party is thoroughly seen to, spending the first quarter-to-half of the year with the big bad action that is ahead of us.

After we have wrapped the main content of AoH:MoAR, we do have some last polish that will need attending too. We’ll be taking a look back at the Stats part of the game for one, cleaning out any last bugs to be found as well, and making last improvements to features like the Gallery and the Skip that we didn’t get to spend time on with the first pass. This will be our first complete game, so we’re going to be sure to give it a proper completion. Once there, we’ll take one last size up to see if it’s worth rounding out any last scenes as bonus gravy, and that’s it. Complete. Mark it v1.0 and smile.


That’s really it for AoH then. So how about NTR?

Noemi’s Toscana Rebirth 2021 Plans

Again, let’s start off with where we’ve come from on our way to what’s up next. Noemi’s sheer scale has made pacing the game’s development a real challenge, but in 2020 we took several steps forward. We added some serious technical and mechanical improvements, including UIs that were big QoL improvements, but on the content side we set ourselves 5 Major goals to build up the base of the game and make it stand solidly. They are, in no order of priority, as follows:


- Include side character arc content to fill out the Downtime/Day Off sections, including content for each of Noe’s stats, for each type of player.

- More appearances and focus on the villains/antagonists (mainly Sal), and on the Main Story arc content, fit more into the game’s main themes of restaurant feuding.

- Include more girls in the sexier scenes, having more than just Noe (as hot as she is) in the x-rated parts.

- Add more sexy content and x-rated scenes overall.

- Expand on at least one of the other Waitresses arc content, Kriem/Frankie/Kelsey, to open up expansions to tactics, daily strategy choices in the Restaurant Manager portions and last of the Team Bonding options in the Downtime sections.


In 2020, we covered a lot of what we wanted, but not all. Between Beck, Damon, and now Asana too, we made substantial progress on the first point, and some decent steps forward on 3-4, plus a bit on 2 as well. We can now start to look more at the ones on the list we didn’t get to last year, until we find that newer goals become more priority in adding value and heat to the game. So…


For 2021, we aim to include a sharper focus on Sal’s personal arc, the next steps in the Main Story where our main girls can interact and bond more, bring Asana’s arc as far as Damon’s has reached as well as have at least one of the waitresses getting some additional content too.


It’s a little bit of a big bite to swallow, but between what we plan to cover for this year, we should make some really nice progress for sure, especially on points 2-5 above. The deeper we get into better progress on these goals above, the more we can look at changing or expanding our priorities, or doubling down on more of the above if that’s what it calls for. With any extra room to spare in the coming year, we’ll look to bonus goals, like the last of the technical improvements (specifically the Save UI), possibly having half-content half-gameplay releases in future to more rapidly expand the gameplay outcomes, and / or returning to add some more content to the Beck arc or the Brad arc, so they reach the point the Damon, Asana, and Sal ones are/will likely be at.


That’s where our focus in Philly is for the months ahead. What else do we have on our planner for the year then?

Additional 2021 Plans

This year, we don’t have any dedicated plans for additional seasonal type content, like our wallpapers or the S&S stories we did before. What with our recent version scheduling and internal changes in our available time, something we will cover in another upcoming post in this series, we want to put the games first and foremost for the year ahead so we can get the most out of them. Especially so since we’re looking to complete a game during this time too, which has to be done right.

Of course, we still have our comic Agents of Heels: The Last Raider that is ongoing. If time permits us to, we would love to have more of that, perhaps even get it to its own end, but it takes a lot of time per issue, so we are not in a position to commit to a steady release plan for it yet. It will be played by ear.


Lastly, we’re sure you have a sudden burning question after hearing our plans, “What are you going to do after AoH finishes?”. Good question indeed. It is our plan to wrap Nat’s misadventure up this year, likely in the latter half. Once we do, we will of course be turning our attentions to a new project! No, we don’t have anything set yet, a few concepts have been thought up and expanded upon to various degrees, but which we want to bring into the beWilderversefirst, we haven’t decided. What we do know is it will be several months of Pre-Production from the end of AoH before we reach an Engine Test or v0.1 version of “Project 3” ready to share with the beWildernauts, and in that time we’ll be turning to do as many back-to-back Noemi months as we can to fill that content void, as we push that game’s pace forward even more. All of this is the most subject to change however, how much of 2021 (if any) will fall under this banner is yet to be seen, so simply know that we’re looking forward to plenty more good times far into the future, and when we close in on this next phase, we’ll all have something to enjoy. All in good time.

In the end, our main plan for 2021 is to carry on and bring the beWilderverse to another new level of quality, of quantity and of sexy. That’ll always be our goal.
