Handover January 2021: Italianas Do it Better!

Hey-ho, fans, friends and good people out there! It’s another beWilderrific day to make some jollies, and so that’s what we’re gonna do. It’s handover post time!

Now, we’re going to forewarn you early, this isn’t our usual simple handover tradition, not this time. It’s a bit of a grab bag of scheduling news, which can be good or poor depending on the light you view it in. We’ll get right into that in a moment, but first let us kick off with what is undoubtably good stuff! Our handover image!

Did we say good? We meant smoking hot and impossible to dislike! We all know this has become a bit of an iconic look in our roster, and so we thought it only correct (and necessary) to show Noe as she puts the challenge right to her co-headliner! Talk about chalking a cue! Who wants to take on the same bet with her as Nat had at that same table…? We’re sure it’ll be several times 4 this time!

So then, to the news of the day. As our handover posts signify, we’re officially on and working hard on Noemi’s next outing as of right now! That’s true and it’s the same as usual. Take that to the bank and cash it.

However, it’s not lost on anybody we’re starting off our month’s work already in the later days of the calendar sheet thanks to previous delays. It’s very clear we’re not going to be able to make a Noemi release by the end of January. This knock-on stuff has to stop. It does. Even if only for our own wellbeing, but really because mixed, uncertain hopes and confusions for you fans has to end. Until now we’ve been letting hope and optimism lead the way… We take on the challenge of starting so late into the month, aiming to not let the delay spill over as much as possible, we push and yet we always “need another week” because we were too hopeful in what we could do… then we end up this far into a month. We look back on how late we end up releasing from our first estimates (and second sometimes) and it hurt… We look stupid, or worse, liars, which we are not. Not on purpose.

We don’t want this to continue anymore, we want to be back to our usual tried and test, month by month releases like we had for 2 years straight back there. We’ve tried to produce faster in an “overclocked crunch” mode, it wasn’t maintainable. We’ve tried to make smaller versions to be through faster, which only means lesser experience for you fans in the end, and it didn’t help as much as we needed it to either. Added to the issue, from January 2021 we have more time management concerns to account for (we’ll have more on this in a post in our Anniversary series this month). There’s only one solution, and though it sucks in the short term, it’s going to be best for us all in the mid and long term. So here’s the plan.

We’re hitting a hard reset on our release from today. Noemi is officially in production as we said, but her expected release is now the end of February, as February’s main content. The recently released Agents of Heels v0.20 will be the only new content for both December 2020 and January 2021. We’re taking February to get ourselves back on track, back on releasing towards the end of the month after a full month of production, and then moving cleaning in to March for more AoH, and cleanly back into our previously well-kept schedule. That’s the plan anyway.

For the remainder of January we will be working on Noemi, doing the pre-production, the early asset work, the engine work and the playtesting of new content as we do. On here, we’ll be running our Anniversary series of posts with news, goals and other plans for us all to enjoy. Also behind the scenes we will be arranging and planning out what we need to do with our time and commitments so we can get back to our highly productive selves, and so we can make all the goals we list for 2021 come true, including AoH, NTR, our page and everything else. We will have our Brave release for AoH v0.20 at the end of the month, but sadly it’s too late for our Boldas we get back to our proper release spacing with our proper release dates. Boldrelease will come in the second week of February. The month of February will see us back to our usual plans… We’ll be working on the game the whole time while on here we’ll have early month posts for fun, Public Teaser and details in the middle, Backer teasers towards the end as we build hype, and then the game as soon as we have it. After that, it’s handover time again and on to March, more AoH, with the usual Brave and Bold NTR release follow ups! Play, enjoy and repeat!

The Too Long Version:

- We’re having a hard reset to get back on track. Noemi’s planned content is moved officially to February to give us the space to get our stuff together and be back to our peak.

- AoH’s v0.20 is our January 2021 and December 2020 content. It’s already available to current Daring fans, and links have been sent to December Daring fans.

- We have time for the Brave release of AoH v0.20 for those fans this month. The Bold release is sadly bumped back to Mid-February. Our deepest apologies, seriously.

- Our goal is to get back to solid releases each month starting February, at the end of each month, with little to no spill over, like before. Same goes for our post schedules on here.

- We’ll have more details and discussion on our delays as part of our upcoming anniversary post, specifically in our Page Goals and Plans section.

And that’s really it. We’ve got to step up and make the most of this opportunity to return to our peak performance. We hope you’ll have our back as we make this drastic shake up to get back up on our best feet. In the end, it’s only a matter of a few weeks change, but we aim to make it a move for the better, because we have so much sexy to do in 2021 and we want to do it all and do it right! And hey, the real good news is at the heart of all this… Noemi’s coming back for more and it’s only a few weeks until we’ve got our hands on her again!
