NTR v0.12 Backer Teaser #1 – Gallery Goes Live!

Howdy fans and beWildernauts! It’s mid-week and we’re closing in on the end of the month, so we thought we should swing by and make ourselves heard. Y’all ready for a status update? We think you are! Let’s get right to it then. Since this is a half-tech build, one of these teasers should reflect that glossy work, so let’s see us our latest Gallery add, just like you fans asked!

Swanky, swanky! Looks like Noe has plenty to watch when Witch One hits it’s end of season slump, huh? Well we can all jump on the couch and join her now too, all 55 scenes and counting accounted for, and if we may be so bold… It’s looking damn fine!

From v0.12 on, Noe’s got a Gallery added to the Main Menu unlocked on start. You’ll have to earn the scenes yourself though! From now on the game will track which scenes you’ve unlocked and like any good computer, it’ll remember them for you between and across playthroughs. Unlock them once, and there they are for good. Best yet, the Gallery has it’s stretch pants on, so it can get bigger and hotter as we feed it content without a shadow of a problem. Cool huh?

So all that’s left to ask… Who wears theirs better, Noemi’s NTR or Natasha’ AoH? Muhahaha!

Okay then, to the more news side of the coin now. What about the timeline and the rest of the To-Dos? Well, we made sure to say in our Public Teaser that we would definitely be using all our time this month and the last day of September was the earliest we’d be ready. That’s still true. We (most Unshi) put a whole lot of time and effort into making Noemi shine, and if you think the Gallery is looking good, wait until you see the Progress Tracker revamp… You’ll see. With that accounted for, we’re pushing to get through the CGs for the scenes we’ve got set out before next week comes. It’s going to be tight, but we can still do it. That means it’s going to be very unlikely we will be able to add more than the initial 12 Gameplay CGs we laid out previously, but that’s a small stretch goal to put aside if it means we hit our deadline. Meanwhile, the coding and testing is still ongoing (we had to wait until the UI was finished before doing engine work this time), but by the weekend we suspect we’ll be on to the last of the artwork setup as it comes, and wrapping up the after game paperwork that is the patch notes and the Walkthrough…

… So, long story simply put, we’re making great progress, things are looking a whole lot better and pretty professional too. Best of all, we’re still on track as of now for our Sept 30th release date, we’ve just got to keep pressing our noses to the grindstone!

Oh… and before we go… We’ve got a bonus little treat for our beWildernauts to enjoy. We didn’t add this to our Public Teaser because we weren't sure we’d get to it this version, but now that it’s already implemented, we might as well let y’all get a kick. Ready?

That’s right, we’ve added an option for an Endless mode, since so many people just want the girls to have fun. Enjoy that when it comes. You can’t say we don’t give you nice things, huh? So, until we’re right back here with another teaser soon…

Be endlessly upbeat and beWilder!

At the moment no, you can't switch over to an Endless mode from an older save. A new playthrough will be needed to select it. Admittedly it's not something we considered yet, but now that you've given us the idea we can take a look and see about some potential work-arounds and if we can make it so you can switch them once before we release next week, if we have the time to do so. How's that/

beWilder

Can you switch to Endless mode from an old save, or do you need to start a new game?

Wonderful so. I (Spook) for one prefer the True Mode, but in the end, it's the player's choice rather than the dealers. I have my reasons for liking True mode, but if it makes it a better experience overall for people then that's what matters. The challenge will still be there for people who want it, and for those who just can't get a strategy together that works for them they can still enjoy everything just by putting in the effort. That's nice. Cheers buddy, let's see if it works out in practice soon!

I like the idea of Endless Mode since I'm generally rubbish at games.
