beWilder’s Wildest: 3rd Place Consolation Match – We Have Winner!

Hey, hey friends and fans, our dear beWildernauts! We have more beWilder’s Wildest! action for you! We’ve called a close to the consolation match and chosen ourselves a Top 3 girl, so are we ready to hear how it all went down? Sure you are, because while we’re talking, our winner has been doing this…

Noe: “Sorry, but the rules say I’ve got to punish you. I don’t enjoy this… I think?”

Despite being a consolation match, it was a good one and even one of our most participated one too, but when all was said and done, Noemi kept a decent lead and won the day and the match 22-16 over Mystique! 

That means it’s not going to be an AoH sweep of the podium, though they do hold 4 of the 5 top spots for the tournament. By an interesting turn of events, the score here today means that both of Noemi’s wins were decided by 6 votes, and if we count this match as being a ‘right side of the bracket’ match it’d be third of 4 decided by exactly 6 votes as Lara beat Asana by the same 6. The only other match in that side was now famously settled by 4 votes and sent Lara to the finals. This match also had another commonality with the earlier rounds in that the girl who made the early start ended up on the receiving end of the match! Mystique pulled to a 4-0 lead in the opening hours of the match but by sun-up on the next day Noemi had the lead. Noemi kept it to about a 60-40% split in her favour but as the days went on Mystique chipped that away, bringing them within about 12 percentage points and only a handful of votes, but Noemi stayed in the lead. In the last two days Noemi had herself a holiday rally and found her way back to 6up and the strong win. Fair props to Mystique, but she’s closing out her bWW! and Season 1 on a slip while Noemi takes the Bronze medal and the Profile Pic with it too! 

Interestingly enough, despite it being a lost for Mystique and a consolation match too, it was the best match for both girls of the tournament going by total votes. Both girls took 2 votes more than their highs in the Round of 8. Both girls also showed us that given even a tough match up, they can indeed compete, as Mystique shook off the one-sided defeat to Natasha to keep a close contest here, and Noemi rebounded from a good loss to Lara by winning cleanly here today, with as strong a victory as most matches so far. Nice work ladies, we’re were thrilled to see y’all do so well!

And so, with all that in the rear view mirror, let’s take one last look at the top of the (girls we’d like to) pops, where we’ll see how we stand with just one match left in the making!

So that’s were we are now. Our podium roster is all picked, but the line up is not yet set. We’ve still got to find out who will stand on the tallest block, will it be Lara or will it be Natasha? So that’s the wild ride we’ve taken to get to this point, and we’ve loved every minute of it! But all good things must come to an end if only until we hit another sweet tournament! Natasha vs Lara, one-on-one, with the ultimate title, the Grand Prize Mini-VN, the Gold Profile Pic, a lingerie outfit and the love of the fans all on the line.
