beWilder’s Wildest: Round of 8 – We Have Winner #2!

Hello again our favourite people in the world, our beWildernauts! We’re now halfway through our Round of 8, and we’re down to 6 girls left in our contest. What’s more, we now have two girls who have been through the fires of a true fight and who have come out on top! Who is our second veteran girl, and more importantly our second semi-finalist too? It’s…

Mystique: "Don't get up unless you want more."
Kelsey: "Hey! You won by just one vote! You cheated! I never lose!"

It officially an upset, but it was as close as they come. Mystique makes the cut by 1 single vote, beating Kelsey in a 14-13 vote split.

This match was a neck-and-neck horserace the whole way. Neither girl could get more than a 2-vote lead right up until the late days of the contest and after two dozen votes at that. Each girl had their time in the lead, and their time on the bottom, but in the end Mystique pulled away at the very end. Her lead of 3 votes was slashed when a last-minute switch came to pass, but it wasn’t enough for Kelsey who is now going home!

Both girls can be proud, if a little sulky, and we’re thoroughly entertained by the show they put on, aren’t you? Sadly, only one will be moving on, so Mystique has a short while to plan her strategy for her fight for the final, win over the fans, and take on a quick costume change as the Semi’s get a lot more Risqué! Before we look more to her next step, and the next match up too, let’s take one last look at Kelsey’s achievements in this, out beWilder’s Wildest contest!

Note: Nat and Mystique’s votes don’t really matter here beyond the fun of keeping track, as the actual Head to Head matchups will decide places 1-4, in fact there own H2H match will decide a whole lot. Lose by a single vote and you’re out! That goes for all the remaining girls too!

With a loser’s vote count of 13, Kelsey set a high benchmark! You don’t expect to see a Seed #2 fall below the line, but when they do they still go down big! 13 Votes will be hard to overcome, and with it she’s seen to it she’ll end in #7 or higher having passed Kriem’s 9. To all the future match-up competitors, you’ll want to get at least 9 votes but aim for over 13 for your best outcomes! 

Alright now… as hard as it is, we’ll say goodbye to Kelsey now! Fear not her fans as though she won’t get the Grand Prize VN, we’ll still see her Origin Story next year should all go well! Now let’s celebrate Mystique’s win by looking to see what’s she’s won and where she’s going!

Two head-to-head matches down, and two to go in the Round of 8! Mystique has earned a new casual outfit, and a direct shot at Nat as they both aim to get their name on the left side of the Finale’s line up! It’s going to be a Hell of a match… can Mystique pull out a second upset or will Natasha find herself as our first finalist? We’ll find out in early December! Thanks to this win as well, we are now guaranteed an Agents of Heels girl in the final match as well as the 3rd place playoff too.

But fore we get to all that, we’ve still plenty of fun and fight in our Round of 8! The right side of our brackets are still to show us their stuff! We’ll be kicking it off tomorrow with our second Seed #2v#3 match, as Lara takes on Asana! Will Lara move on to contend for her biggest prize (by that we mean the respect of the other Agents) or will Asana prove to be even more popular than we expected? We’ll find out oh so soon!
