This is an amazing distorted guitar amp plugin perfect for any music that requires heavy guitars. Metal, Pop Punk etc.
It can also work great for other genres where you want your guitars to have a little bit more grit to them!
Really easy to use interface and the presets sound great!

2 - TAL Chorus LX by TAL
Honestly my favourite chorus plugin, and it's free!
Really simple to use controls including 2 different switches to amp up different types of choruses. I personally just use the singular chorus and then adjust the volume to match the dry signal.

3 - MAutoPitch by Melda Production
Even though the name suggests, I don't use this for it's autotune (because tbh it just really isn't good and full of artefacts) I would suggest instead opting for Antares AutoTune for that, it's 10000x better!
What I do use this for however is for it's 'Formant Shift' control. If you know me, you know how much I love formant shifting, and even though my go to for this is Little AlterBoy by Soundtoys, this is the best free alternative!

4 - BOD by TSE Audio
This is one of those plugins that is absolutely amazing that it's free.
It is hands down one of the best plugins i've used to add some beautiful clean distortions to your bass!
You can use this with a bass guitar, or even use it on 808's and any other bass you want and you will always get a great sound!

5 - ValhallaSpaceModulator by Valhalla
Valhalla makes amazing plugins, famous plugins used by top producers and engineers all around the globe.
And they have a few free ones, probably most notably ValhallaSuperMassive, but this one is fantastic for adding some cool granular, trippy modulated effects to drums which you can use to make really cool bridge/intro/outro sections.
