NTR v0.1 Walkthrough: Daring Release

Hello guys, welcome to the very first release of our Walkthrough reward for the Daring backers, kicking off with Noemi’s Toscana Rebirth v0.1! We’re wading into new territory here, so this release is more about finding the right formatting and the cleanest way to get across what the player needs to know in order to progress in the best way for them. We’re also looking to find the right balance between showing you how to get to a given scene and telling you about it, there is a perfect balance to be found in how much we tell you about what can be found in each path before you get to see it come to life in game, so do help us out on that front as this living document starts to grow into an all-inclusive guide!

The section below this will detail both contents of the update to the Walkthrough as well as the NTR game. Needless to say, this contains [SPOILERS], read on at your own discretion.

So, this walkthrough update is more about formatting and information balancing than helping with content, mainly because the content of the v0.1 game is all groundwork into the story. We’ve named this update “Let the Game Begin!” and all 5 scenes push the Main Story Arc forward during the first week. By the end we get to the point we can open up our second Arc, Kriem’s character Arc, but that will be picked up in v0.2 along with some other characters met during that update and Downtime Activities (also v0.2).

However, we have our reasons for kicking off this reward at v0.1, we’d like to hear from you guys as to how to present information about the games and scenes. We’ve been designing the game so long we have become blind to the view from the outside, as all creators do. We want to hear from you guys early and often, as much as we want to hear from you on the Gameplay section, on how to get the most from this reward before content piles up.

As we have it now, we detail each Arc’s path, giving you a brief, though non-specific, description of the scene (also its name), all in a linear fashion. For ease sake we list all the scenes by version earlier in the doc, so you know where to look to find the latest content. At the end we (will be) detailing info and outcomes of the Downtime Activities, which play a big role in the RPG side of the game and can also push forward content Arcs at times. So the key question is… does it work? What can be improved about our design, if anything? Let us know as we got forward!

So far we’ve not gotten any negative feedback on this set up, but also little positive or feedback in general. Let us know how it appeals (or doesn’t) to you so we can make any adjustments needed, or if not asked we’ll continue on in this fashion for v0.2
