Aims for April (and Even More)

Hey there all and thanks for joining us today. Since its about to roll into another month we figured we’d take a look at what we are up to right now and outline what we aim to achieve over the coming weeks. No, this post is not about our plans for April O’Neal… oh how we wish we were in a position to put her in a few positions… but this is serious business so let’s get to it. This post will focus on what we are up to right now behind the curtain of development and what is to come in the next few weeks.
 

Oh, but first, a little update on our outward ventures. Some of you may recall we participated in a script competition hosted by VoiceLikeCandy, some weeks ago. Well the results are in and we took 3rd place. Not bad right? Sadly, the prize only went to the top script so we’ll not be getting a voiced Kate story just yet, but it appears the contests may become a regular thing and so will our entries into it. Keep an eye out for future movements on this front. If anyone is aware of any other such contests where some beWilderverse bonuses may be garnered, we’re interested, so let us know. Who knows, we all might get out hands on some special guest content yet!
 

Now, why not start off our look at the present and near future with an update on the here and now? Well, we’re finished with the pre-production phase of the NTR v0.1 update and have moved on to the full production phase. What does that mean? It means we have finalized the scripts contents, laid out all the scenes and worked out all the visuals to be made, among other things. Right now, Unshi is hard at work on the UI for the gameplay sections and the daily display while Spook is tacking the code that will manage and run it all. Just look at the header image of this post for a little taste of what will be on show come the next release.
 

Unfortunately, UI is a thing that must be done but is often overlooked. But once it’s done, it’s done, and it no longer takes up our dev time each month so it’s best to get it finished early and to do it right. It looks damn good, doesn’t it? Once the UI has been created Unshi will be right onto the many dozens of CGs needed to show off all the happening of the first instalment of the game. Those two are our top priority development tasks of the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Spook has his hands in the code, implementing some of the smaller features that help smooth out the edges of the game as well as filling up the build with all those lovely words, image transitions and of course, the gameplay. As we stand right now, we expect a late April release of NTR. So that’s what’s dirtying our hands right this second, let’s look at what else is on our worksheet over the next while.
 

Y’all may have noticed but we’ve been posting more often the last few month, a number of posts a week and even more than one a day in a few instances. We’ve touched on a number of different topics in these posts, from fan decided content like the wallpapers to feedback and future plans like voice acting, pretty much everything in between too. One of the goals with this post is to keep the important things in focus, so let’s do that right now. What to expect in April:
 

- NTR v0.1 Released to the Adventurous and Pure Wild tiers. This is our prime goal and will be taking up the vast majority of our efforts. That and AoH’s / Nat’s game is why we are all here after all.

- As promised, with NTR’s v0.1 release, we will be kicking off our Walkthrough reward for the Daring backers and above. We will first release the reward to the above tiers, after a short time has passed from the game’s release (a few days or so) and do the same with the Daring fans once NTR reaches them.

- Also as per usual, the Pure Wild backers will receive a package of behind the scenes content that was previously found along with Heroes&Villains Editions of AoH, with the release of NTR v0.1

- “The Last Raider” comic pages 1-3 will be released down to the Bold tier. If we finish the NTR release with enough time to spare we will focus our efforts afterwards on producing the next set of pages to be released in April as well, starting with the Adventurous and Pure Wild again.

- We will continue our Season 1 Wallpaper contests and sticker book releases with both AoH and NTR getting another shot. Every Brave backer and above gets to have their vote in both contests, while Daring and above get to take home the winning girls. Everyone else get another sticker for their book.

- We’ll keep up our usual posting and discussions with you all. We have a few things we’d like to ask your feedback on over the course of the month too, as well as the usual look at different aspects of development as we go. If there is anything in particular you fans would like to turn the discussion to, do let us know.

Note: In future months, the game not on top (this coming month that’s AoH) will also get a release, the current version(s) moving down a tier. However, we already released it to the Brave tier this month instead of next, you’d been waiting long enough, we couldn’t ask you to do it anymore. This means we don’t have it to release to you in April though, sorry about that. Soon enough we’ll have out staged content built up and in order so each month every tier will get a new release!

So that heaping helping of sexy goods is what’s on the agenda of the next month. Glad we’ve got that all in focus once more. We’re already hard at work on producing these wonderful goods, now let us get back to it and we’ll see you all when the calendars move to 04/2018… or will we see you sooner? Surprise! Yes, we have a bonus announcement! We’ve opened up a Discord server for all to join! Seriously? Yeah, seriously. You can find the open invite here. Patreon is a great platform in many ways but one thing it is not so good at is stimulating conversation between us all. As we mentioned earlier it feels like there is a curtain separating us the “Great and Powerful Creator of Content” from the fans of the work, only seeing the men behind the curtain when we put up a post. For that reason, we’ve decided to open up our communications and welcome in all the fans to our Discord, if you’d like to join that is, so we can be better in touch as well as explore deeper the various parts of the beWilderverse with those who care for it most. The server is open to all, but there is a special place for patreon backers to have a chat too. Come on by if your interested (you might even find a sexy surprise involving our Candy Contest Entry inside) but if you’re not up for it, that’s cool also. We will of course be keeping as active as ever here on the page too!
