Feedback Week #14

Alright, here we are, good and bad news. Bad news first:

The game broke in so many levels I even considered dumping it all and starting over. At one point I had 159 errors which is 156 more than usual, give or take. Of course some of them where consequence of others and solved by themselves, but most didn’t.

Good news now: it freaking works! I managed to isolate the problems and treat them one by one as if it was a virus infecting the rest of the systems and it finally works. I have some of the 0.1 content assembled in the new system and apparently the game likes it.

On to the next topic: I’ve been working on the new tiers and rewards and I got it all sorted now. As I mentioned a while ago to my patrons nobody seems to like the soft/hard core system so I’ll be changing that in the near future. The new rewards system will be as follow:

• Public Version: Free for all. From time to time (once a big version has been achieved and a few new ones have been published for my patrons) I’ll be releasing them to everyone for free.
• Standard Edition: Agents or greater will have access to the Standard Edition. It will contain all of the Story scenes (so you won’t miss a thing) and some important secondary ones.
• Exclusive Edition: Raiders or greater will have access to the Exclusive Edition. This one will contain not only all the Story scenes but side-quests and more spare time scenes giving you the full experience.
• Collector’s Edition: Heroes and Villains will have access to the Collector’s Edition. It will contain everything the other two have plus concept arts, behind the scenes, old renders, discarded stuff, tryout outfits, etc. This will be the first version released on each patch.

All versions will be Adults Only - Hardcore Versions. Should they have any new sex scenes they would be as explicit as anyone could expect.

According to all this (and since this changes haven’t been active in the beginning of the month) it wouldn’t be fair to release the Collector’s Edition this month and the other ones the next so this will be the last version released at the same time for everyone. Nonetheless, it will go as follows:

• This weekend I expect to have all and just the 0.1 content assembled in the new format. I will be releasing it as an engine test for my Heroes and Villains. It will not have any new content (but some minor changes).
• Once the wip version is complete (before ending May) I’ll be releasing the Collector’s Edition, Exclusive Edition and Standard Edition at the same time, each with their corresponding content, as well as the Public Version (this one will be exactly the same as this weekend’s version, with no new content associated, but all the gameplay changes).

This is a huge reprogramming and gameplay oriented version so it will not have as much new content as the last version did. Initially I thought about just changing the gameplay and releasing it with the old content (since I would almost be ready to do it) but it wouldn’t be fun for anyone so bear with me if it still takes a bit, since it will be better for everyone :)
