Plans for the future

My main concerns about the demo version are as follow:

The story progresses, but it has no background on most things that need them, like characters.

Scenes are disconnected one from another.

The game doesn’t get much of a feeling of a game, but an interactive comic.

Next version of the game will be entirely focused on turning it into an actual game, which should help those aspects. I have some ideas I want to test and I’ll develop the one that ends up with a better feeling.

One of the main issues is the lack of real branching. This is something I plan to include in the near future since the ideas I have for the point above should help in this regard.

As mentioned many times and as you may have seen in the pause menu of the game, I plan to include stats. The stat system has been thought and I know how I want it to interact with the game, but before that I need a game to interact to.

Following with the two steps above it’s easy to connect the dots and have an inventory that turns into real branching. Say you need a key to enter a building, for example, although there might be another way in.
