I went back to an oldie from one of my Berklee voice exams for practice this week, and boy, is this a lovely song. Gut-wrenchingly sad sure, but hey, that's kinda my jam ;) Sara Bareilles is such a massive talent in so many ways and it's so refreshing to sing in this style every once in a while, it really tickles the "theater" side of my music writing brain. Have you guys listened to her much, and if so, what's your favorite song? I think "Love Song" is definitely up there for me as my favorite karaoke tune.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my interpretation of this melancholic banger.
