"Let's Go to the Movies" Lyrics

I wanted to share some lyrics with you guys today, so I chose some from a song that I wrote for my mom. This also kind of reads like a poem to me, so I thought it'd be a fun thing to share.
My mom means an incredible amount to me, and one year I decided to write this for her as a birthday gift. Movies have always been something that we connected deeply with, or more-so, the activity of watching movies together. When I was a kid, if either of us had a terrible day, we would always suggest going to the movies (you know, back when it wasn't craaazy expensive to go) to make us feel better... and it always did the trick. Don't get me wrong, I'd be nowhere without the constant emotional support that she's given me over the years as my mom too, but this was always such a cute, special part of our bond that I didn't have with anyone else quite the same.
I hope you enjoy reading it. What was the first movie you ever saw in a theater? Funny and inappropriately enough, it may have been Lord of the Rings for me.

I think my first movie in the cinema was Spider-Man 2002 with Tobey Maguire. Also the first movie set I saw in person was The Last Samurai it was filmed partially in my home town.
