Sorry if it seems a tad too dark, I'm currently experimenting with lighting/angles so there isn't much static lighting in the scene currently!

Within my development of Environments/Levels over the years in Unity, [if you've been following] I'm sure you've noticed I've tried a few things when creating terrain and environments in levels.

Tilesets, Spriteshapes, and 3D environments to name the most memorable methods.

Whilst playing Daggerfall, I had the idea to use 3D environments with 2D sprites and here you see the result!

It allows for a lot more variety of detail in environments, combined with an ease of use I am already familiar with (thanks to my most recent project developments) allows for a quite unprecedented workflow (I found) with the real limitations being (at this time) my limited work on the sprites/images themselves, and some partitions of code/gameplay which will need to be overhauled/replaced to filter out spaghetti code.

So, In essence, things would be looking to go fairly smoothly provided feedback to this aesthetic is favorable, and even if not I have some visual/Post FX trickery in my repertoire to encourage visual aesthetic to reach a more familiar level

I intend to implement multiple camera selections on the overview/exploration map so that players can determine these things for themselves and choose the option they like most

(Fixed Camera (traditional), Free Camera (360 degree angle view), Third Person, First Person (potentially), etc.

Footage features -

I'm not really planning on revolutionizing the creative process/my vision more than this to be honest, subconciously I feel as though I've always wanted to include some sort of free perspective camera (full rotation) somehow, but obviously with 2D elements, this would be a tremendous workload.

Many of the images/sprites in the footage & Screenshots are placeholder, WIP, or Old content that I am only using for gathering of visual dimensions, please keep that in mind that nothing you see here is final, only an Idea of what you might expect to see.

Also to address why this update took so long to release, I been toying/playing around with art, visual styles, background elements/WIP character models + other stuff in the Background, ascertaining what I gel/vibe with the most. It's definitely this look/similar for me right now, I feel as though it is a good representation of what I want to create and share with everyone.
