Keeping to Patreon for now
Added 2021-03-23 23:13:41 +0000 UTCSo, today I made the decision to step away from social media, and posting my art publicly, at least for now.
I've seen now that no matter how many months I take off for a mental health hiatus, every time I come back, I feel just as miserable as I did when I left.
Unfortunately, with the way things are right now, I just don't feel happy in the community the way I used to. I've been doing this for close to 20 years now, and there has been a great erosion in the way things used to be.
A lot of old friends quit old accounts, a lot of old hangout sites closed down, and although I have a discord group that I'm quite content in, everywhere else feels so impersonal.
I'm quite willing to accept that it's me. I'm the problem, probably. I've just... Grown up, I guess. I've outgrown the way things work now. I'm a sore thumb.
Which is why I'm thankful all of you are supporting me here, and that so many of you have stuck with me from the beginning.
I'm so sorry that I haven't been more attentive to you. You deserve better from me. I hope I haven't disappointed you.
I want this place to be a proper community. I want to create cool projects for you to join in with. I want to hear what you guys think.
So, I'm gonna try and think up some stuff. I'll be posting some things, outside of my regular tiered posts.
I'd like to get you guys involved with my OCs, in my dndverse, and the modern fantasy verse. I want to crossover with your OCs. I want my OCs to hang out with yours.
I am REALLY pumped to get you involved with this stuff, and I hope you guys can be excited too.
So please! Hit me up with some feedback, and I'll try and create some cool stuff for us all to enjoy together!
