Lost Emmy WIP
Added 2022-09-15 19:26:18 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I apologize if it was rather quiet on here the last week. I've been in negotiations with Webtoon the last few months about featuring Emmy on their platform as part of a new CANVAS agreement. This will mean that Webtoon will receive the completed new entries of the comic before anywhere else, in exchange for more financial support from them.
While I've always wanted to give my patrons the first peek at new comics, Webtoon requires a 7 day exclusivity period for new completed episodes, meaning that they can only be posted elsewhere after the week period is over. I will continue to share the finished pages on here for those who prefer to read them on Patreon, as well as posting WIP sneak peaks like here early. Patrons will also still get monthly exclusive comics and artwork.
I understand if this makes some of you less interested in being a patron, however, with your continued support, and this new opportunity with Webtoon, I am another step closer to my goal of making Emmy comics my full time job, which would mean more comics/content!
I wanted to tell you all here before anyone else, to be transparent with you all after you've shown so much love to the comic. I hope I continue to have your support moving forward as I work hard to make it worth your while!

Oh no I already think of what’s prolly going to happen next, the parents and the company are going to have a replacement to stand in as “Emmy” cuz they have about hundreds or so the same bot in with some cosmetics like the same hair and eyes and prolly even program the unit to act “like” Emmy to trick Madeline to think she came home from like a hospital (I have a feeling those chairs Emmy regularly sits in at night are stored drives that the company could copy and paste VERY SIMILAR behaviors of her in a new body).
