I just wanted to update you a little bit as I have done several comics in the meantime and have been continuing to work on Emmy over the last month, as well as managing a few other freelance projects.
I'll be posting more WIPs in the meantime, as I'd like to resume posting on my regular schedule again as soon as I can. I'm having to sort out some business affairs as well that have taken a while, so I apologize for the wait. However, I have something in the works with Emmy here that I think you guys will love when it's ready!

Huh, the way that Madeline drew Emmy front and center with her parents literally on the margins of the page just shows how Madeline deeply cares and pretty much sees Emmy as THE parental figure in her life with her actual parents secondary. But we also see her mom seemingly looking tired in her house clothes surrounding with toys prolly spending more time with Madeline while Emmy is gone for "repairs". Mad's parents do deeply care for their child, but work came first place in order to keep their home and unfortunately had to get someTHING like Emmy that'll look after their child with 24/7 care (remember in the 1st eps Mad's file says she has allergies so she has special needs a regular nurse /medic professional can't always be there to help physically).
