Honestly if they’re a company that makes innovative new bot models, the whole processing areas would’ve been underground to make sure unruly bots don’t get out to the surface/public easily that can ruin the company’s reputation. It seems like a security slip up if they made a huge deal on BREACHES in their security system. That’s the term they used, as in bots have tried to escape before…

Granted, from how big the trash processing room looked when Emmy went thru the garbage chute & how the creator mentioned Emmy’s line is comprised of THOUSANDS of nandroids, there’s a sense of a HUGE scale with the Sterling building to house all the robots, laboratories, equipment and all to run as robotics factory 🤔
