Death Guard and Imperial Fist Mastodons
Added 2025-09-08 19:21:54 +0000 UTCThis video shows how to paint the new Mastodon for Legions Imperialis in both the Death Guard and Imperial Fist legion schemes. The models are painted at the same time and there is some overlap.
These models were sent as early review copies.
The models are painted to a high gaming standard, which should be repeatable for the whole army and is suited to batch painting.

Death Guard:
AK: Light Brown, Ivory, White, Deep Red, Cadmiun Red, Golden Olive, Black
Games Workshop: Darkoath Flesh (Contrast) Agrax Earthshade, Nuln Oil, Rhinox Hide
Vallejo: Burnt Iron (Metal Colour), Mecha Gloss and Mecha Matt varnish
Winsor and Newton: Burnt Umber
Imperial Fist:
AK: Black, Anthracite Grey, White, Sand Yellow, Deep Blue, Volcanic Yellow
Games Workshop: Darkoath Flesh (Contrast) Agrax Earthshade, Nuln Oil, Imperial Fist (Contrast), Rhinox Hide
Vallejo: Burnt Iron (Metal Colour), Mecha Gloss and Mecha Matt varnish
Winsor and Newton: Burnt Sienna
