Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. I can't say I've dealt with death often. Not in any way that's surprising. But I feel grief still. The grief of a friend you stop talking to. The grief of a failed relationship. The grief of opportunities lost. Of cruelty. Of pain. And I don't know how to deal with that. Not exactly. But the idea of a secret third option - not denial, not acceptance, but the endless refusal to accept that the world has to be like this, that this is the best we can do - that's beautiful. That's Pathologic, in a nutshell. That's the kernel of truth I carry away with me, even after an experience has died its own personified death. The world, death, society, rules, are cruel. I will look at them! I will look death in the eyes! *And*, I do not accept that this is just how it is. I will not take the Executor's hand and walk away. Thank you. For creating art that touched another soul.
