Final Fantasy 8 'First' Impressions (Post-Disc 2 Discussion)

FF8 is one hell of a game ya'll, let me tell you. For the past week or so, it's been slowly but surely unraveling Jade and mine's sanity like a string of yarn kicked down the Sweet Bro & Hella Jeff stairs, so we decided it was best to just do something, fucking anything, to get those feelings out and next thing we knew the mic was on.

First off, apologies for the audio quality, this was super impromptu and casual which is also why it's kinda rambly, ranty, and you can hear my goofy ass bump the mic repeatedly, but if everyone likes it I'm sure we can do better next time.

Couple things I should have mentioned:

Spoiler warning for the first half of FF8.

For those who don't know, Drawing is the magic system of FF8. It works by 'drawing' magic out of monsters where you then collect it similar to an item that can you can have up to 100 of. These magic stacks can then be Junctioned to your stats for stat boost that can be as massive as 4 times it's original value. This is an interesting system with some problematic consequences.

Also now realizing that holy shit, we never once even talked about Triple Triad. God, this game is just...god damn dude. God damn.

I really just need to make a video about this, I got some fucking heat here and the world needs to know. Hope ya'll enjoy.
