Thanks for all your positivity around my previous video. As you can see from the thumb I’ve really got a move on with this figure! Today I just wanted to talk about skin, I thought it would be a quick video but still ended up being 30 minutes! I wanted to explain my choices in depth, which I feel are more important than the technical painting.

So strange that any paint with a grey in it (brown-grey in this case) would cover so badly (assuming the grey is made of mainly white and black which cover well). Maybe we are talking about a chromatic grey (e.g. purple/yellow?)
