Hey Cultists!
Pleased to present to you this tutorial on the Lucas Pina Goblin Bust. I have painted it in a more natural way, jumping between different elements. I begin the orange, but not really got into it yet. The Leather is finished, but the skin only at 80%. I hope this is enjoyable to watch as a more real painting process. Some of this is due to having my tutorial schedule completely disrupted from GW, but also this is how I would genuinely go about it. I think once the complete process is together it will all work.
The main sentiment from this video is to paint something you have been putting off trying! I kept leaving my precious Lucas Pina sculpts in the box, as they are so limited edition. This is completely useless and now I’ve broken the literal seal on these, I hope to do more. I also chose it as I thought many of you would have it, but if not the alternate goblin scheme works for any Goblin or Squig. I was really happy with my green and red Squig I did in the previous guide. Focus is on texture and visible brush stokes too, which I hope you will enjoy. For me, it is a relief and bring enjoyment to these perhaps daunting large figures.
This is the most intensely I have painted in some time and I need a little break! Tomorrow I will begin filing part 2 to catch up with our weekly tutorials we aim for.
As always, I love to hear your thoughts so please leave any comments. The paint list is below, but as a warning I am painting this fairly freely and I encourage you to do the same. Look for the colour in your head not on the shelf.
Cheers!
Andy
