Wtf happened here?
Whatever they did, they need to not do it again. Besides the subjectivity of general taste of genres, the mixing is objectively terrible for half of this songs. For artists of their callibre this is simply unaccepable, what are BELIFT/HYBE doing? I heard they used Big Hit's producers this time? But even then TXT's music is produced amazingly so what's the issue?
Post Coachella this should've been their Armageddon level of quality and growth moment but instead we get a forgettable attempt that meets expectations I guess ... but does not put up much of a fight against the innovative music we're hearing this year so far.
Perhaps there's a confusion over their musical identity whilst their visual identity has made a return to form. Idk but their A&R needs to do better.
I'm extra harsh and annoyed because of how much I love Enhypen and how I was really looking forward to it just to get ... this.
Where are their vocals too? They were really beginning to showcase their growth. In my mind I feel like the only song they like judging from their delivery is Too Close but we'll never know the truth.
Until next one, it's a nah for me dawg.
