some upcoming stuff and a small request
Added 2025-01-08 03:53:32 +0000 UTCokay so i've hit the new year running hehe. working on the new sunstone update. these will be beefy updates as i made a decision to make a full book during this year and keep doing so.
at the same time i'm almost done with the first main draft of my first novel, letters to the vampire queen. after that i'm doing a rewrite so i'm hoping february/ march it will be all done and ready for reading. crowdfunder for printed illustrated edition id planned for some time in may
beyond that i've really gotten into the whole sculpting and 3d printing thing. in a week or two i will finish the ally and lisa printed sculpt paintjob and make some proper photos and videos as a proof of concept. at the same time i will release the stls through myminifactory and patreon. after ally and lisa bauphette will release next as she is currently being sliced and prepped for printing after that i'm working on a few dozen other sculpts so basically whichever i finish first.
now as for the small request.
so, the simple fact about me is that i'm not really a part of the mainstream comic industry. sure i dabble with covers here and there but when it comes down to it, my works are generally ignored by comic sites. that means that the only real advertising i get are my own persistent online presence. the word of mouth from you, my readers, which i'm immensely grateful for.
aand the online store algorithms. and that the annoyingly important one. it's also the point of this request. basically if you ever bought any of my books on amazon or a similar site that has a review option, i would appreciate it immensely if you could drop a few words, and a rating. hell a single word will do. that bloody algorithm is one of the rare things that pushes my books onto new readers and that's only if the books already have a bunch of engagement like that because we are now in hell and machines are out overlords...
so yeah. if you have the time and the will to do so, please do. you have my gratitude if it means anything to you. :)

2025-01-28 17:16:37 +0000 UTCi have a sam that is half done, a clara with a fuckton of monsters half done, woodborn half done almost complete jane on aphelion/ophelia. they'll all get finished. i just jump between them until one gets to that wrap up phase. i'm working on about 50 sculpts atm.

2025-01-15 07:29:25 +0000 UTCnot yet but very soon. there was a piece that didn't easily fit so we redid it. i prefer proofing and testing ll of the sculpts getting them printed by the person assisting the process, and i paint them. once done i use the painted versions as a proof of concept for the stl sales :)

I do try to promote your work, but can't leave reviews on Amazone as I buy at my 'local' comicbookstore. I did get the owner hooked. It is now one of the only non-manga titles he has in stock (comics are pre-order only).

You’ve worked with Mark a lot and I have a lot of your covers, special editions, kickstarter that isn’t you, but mark. Please don’t think you’re involved. The darkness covers you did were awesome. I don’t remember all else you signed , but I’d love for you to appear once a year at nycc. Anyway, I’m just here to say you are loved and appreciated. Stop selling yourself short. I can’t wait for the book as I’ve been following the vampire queen since its inception.

It's quite possible all of the above will happen too 😆 I do hope non of this does happen and everything goes awesomely smooth for you👍 But based of the past, Nope! 🤣🤣🤣
