I can see how present they are in their eyes as they connect with the camera and audience. Makes for a very enjoyable show even when I'm not really enjoying the songs as much.
I love that I could hear imperfections in their vocals and see their focus and confidence whilst producing authentic sounds from within their bodies!
It's safe to say no other girl group comes close to them in terms of live performance at the moment. They become one with the songs and connect in a way that rarely happens nowadays. I truly commend YG for teaching their artists about performing songs when it's more than just choreo. Chiquita was SUCH a stand out, she seems to really get lost in the music. Rora too, what a VOICE! You already know Rami is my girl!
Now for the BAD. The music.
My god. The music. The live band helps A LOT that's for sure but the songs still are what they are, they lack a sense of innovation and do feel super simple which is a let down when you see how amazingly talented these girls are. I want more for them. Imagine them with a song like Step back, BTG (Kiiikiii), In My bag (FLO) or Like Jennie? They deserve so MUCH MORE and I hope it's coming.

2025-04-24 05:02:35 +0000 UTCto speak on the group dynamic they’ve actually spoke on it quiet a lot in interviews and behind the scenes. basically; Rora gets everyone together when the group is traveling or in general at home(dorms) the members all say she has the serious mother role. & Ruka even tho there isn’t a leader is like the leader because she leads in practices, schedules during travel etc. & Rami & Asa lead the group in the studio & based on behind the scenes help the members with arrangements and execution during recordings. these help keep the group focused and in sync but also with everyone giving their input (as u mentioned) and correcting even the girls mentioned above when needed. & the repeat of the songs in casual clothes is their encore it was a part u missed when the audience screams for encore & then they come out again
