I completely understand why you are in love. On the whole, I loved their Coachella stage for both weeks. The live vocals, the choreo, the song arrangement and live band is just wow‼️ As first timers, they did so well and deserve all the appreciation for the hard work that went into it. Hoping for more career highs for Enhypen. Off now to watch week 2 reaction.

2025-05-01 03:02:33 +0000 UTCIt's amazing Jungwon's not 200 lbs of muscle for having to carry all the energy for the whole group through the performances lol Jk they weren't all that bad but I agree that Sunghoon was bringing the energy DOWN every time the camera panned over to him, I have no idea what was going on there but I am so glad I wasn't drinking when you said he needs 6 lines of coke 🤣🤣🤣 full blown snorting laughter One positive comment that applies to everyone in the group, I think this is one of the best live vocal performances I heard from each one. Ni-Ki's singing REALLY surprised me, normally his singing lines are so short it had me thinking they were hiding something but considering how much dancing they had to do, the breath control from each of them and how they were supporting their falsettos was chef's kiss considering what I expected

2025-04-16 23:48:08 +0000 UTCim mad i typed a whole ass essay in this comment section and then i lost my membership RIGHT before i hit send so ill just sum up what i said: jungwon SHINED in my eyes, maybe im a bit biased because ive always loved the way jungwon dances and the way he performs, but everything just looked very natural to him. i also agree with the part that a lot of them have set 'personalities' that they like to give, but i wish we could just get smth different always like you can still have that vibe while also executing different facial expressions and all. i used to be an engene and stopped in 2021 (but always kept up with their music)... but this coachella performance really makes me want to go see them in concert

In my opinion I sometimes think that some of them want to appear perfectly cool at all times which takes away from them being in the present moment, although with time they loosened up and you could feel more natural emotions coming through. Either way Enhypen ate and their aura is unmatched! Btw sometimes I forget that they are still pretty young and already this good, crazy! Can’t wait for next week, because then they will have experience, less nerves and hopefully more star quality outfits!

I thought they all did great, but while you rave about Jungwon (he was great) I can't take my eyes (and ears) off Heeseung, who you barely mention. I think over time their individual stage personas have become more distinct and for me that's a good thing. Although having a group all give off a similar energy can also work, having different members give their own unique vibe is just more interesting to me on the whole, even at the cost of a bit of cohesion.

I think it might’ve been the nerves getting to them for their first ever performance, but hopefully seeing all the positive reactions online will give them the confidence needed to break out of their shell a little more. Seriously such a solid performance overall tho LOOOOVED IT will be waiting for week 2 reactions from u! xx

I THINK I HAVE FOUND TLOML JUNGOWN. HE SHINED SO MUCH IN THIS PERFORMANCE LIKE WOW. Also, I agree with Sunghoon. Honestly, he might need more than six lines of Coke to wake him up. LMAO, but I do think it was because of nerves. And you're right. NI-IK needs to let go of this nonchalant behavior. It's bothering me so much, like, COME ON, IT'S COCHELLA. LET ME SEE IT!!! But hopefully next week it's better. And ugh, these outfits GOT TO GO. I better not see them next week. But yeah, I agree with pretty much everything you said, and I love your commentary. You're too funny.

I wanted more energy and care free (middle finger up) vibes!!! The members did good but Jungwon and Sunoo were killing it!! Jungwon was performing like rent was due!!! As far as the outfits, Im with you when it comes to the all denim fits!! I want more individuality at this point. Like its coachella, do and wear whatever the hell you want!!!! And whoever was playing that guitar was eating it up!!!!

I liked Jungwon and Heeseung’s the best- maybe because they were sleeveless and gave a better vibe. With regard to performance, I thought Jungwon and Heeseung’s both were able to act pissed but then also flirt with the audience. Everyone else was in their own character. I think they all did great but yes Sunghoon is the “ice prince”, Ni-ki is tooooo cool, Sunoo is too smiley in parts where it should have intensity and Jay is so rock band coded. However, I think part of the problem was with the camera almost always zooming in too much and not being able to see the entire group performing. I watched a fan cam that wasn’t just focused on the one signing at the moment, and it felt like such a better performance. You could see more interaction between members with not only each other but the dancers. Also, you could see Heeseung who was doing adlibs through the entire concert. You could see more personality from the members and their interactions and connectedness with the audience much more than the Coachella camera view.

2025-04-14 09:04:18 +0000 UTCHi ! Gosh, they killed it. I love that mics were ON and they were still dancing for majority of the set. Seriously, amazing stage I'm really proud of them. In these moments, I can't help thinking back of Iland, and seeing how much they improved and their confidence is amazing. About their stage personas, overall agree with you. The six lines of cocaine killed me, but I get the idea 😂 Sunghoon really has that chill vibe to him, and it really works for some songs, but for others I also wish he would give us a little more energy wise. Also to be fair, I think he was maybe extra nervous or something here, because usually he stills has more energy and charisma for the more upbeat songs than here (especially towards the beginning of the set). And about Sunoo, even though he almost always has a smile on his face it works because he has like 10 different smiles x) Like the cute one, the sassy one, the "joker's vibe" one, the just pure happiness one etc... So even if he's always smiling it's still diverse and works with different vibes. I think they're probably be even more relaxed next week, so that's going to be nice to watch ! Really happy for them anyways, and really enjoyed your reaction as usual !

2025-04-14 02:30:27 +0000 UTCalso i found it interesting how you mentioned that their dynamic felt more like professional this time around. i feel like during their concerts they interact much more with each other and the concerts just have a more relaxed and goofy vibe between the members and I think since they are performing for only engenes they feel more comfortable interacting with each other in that way. I think in one of your concert reactions of them you mentioned how you enjoyed how much the members interacted with each other in a very casual way. I think they probably had a different mindset going into this Coachella performance and perhaps wanted to show a more fierce side to them. maybe next week they can find a balance between fierce but also casually having fun and just feeling the songs. im sure they were nervous as it was their first performance but they honestly were so spectacular and they always deliver ! all the members did such a amazing and im so proud of them. i was literally smiling throughout the entire performance 😣🫶
