Ten Mujin Service!

OMG I Had soo much fun watching this especially interview wise, he was just so natural and open and was very honest it's refreshing!

This ended up being much longer than I thought but I guess it's because I found so MUCH I wanted to say and finally pin pointed what hasn't worked for me regarding his voice in the past but also what surprised me for the better here!

Good song choices too! Especially better! It worked so well for both of them.

Enjoy!

Where are the Ten fans? I thought this would have more comments and we could discuss his vocals wtf LOOOL

I KNOW AM LATE TO THIS.... But hey .. I think he grew up in That queer culture you mentioned... some of his childhood friends are BL actors and has kept in touch with some to date.. It's usually refreshing to see his solo content when he is Thailand.. He becomes like a different person altogether.. carefree even unlike in SK where he has this restraint. Also his vowels are more affected by his Thai- ness. The way he phrases some of his words is different from us native speakers..(I realised it with other Thai musicians it clicked when you mentioned it) Anyway am new to your paetron.. I love your YouTube content I had to feed on more so I came here. Its refreshing to see you react to Ten.. Love all the way from Kenya 🇰🇪

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! I am not versed in singing techniques but I love the clarity in Ten’s voice. I think he has a great “pop” sound that goes well with his solo discography. When you mentioned how he bleeds his phrasing it made me think about how he sings the way he dances. As a dancer, what sets Ten apart for me is his connection between counts. It’s what makes his dancing very satisfying to watch and makes any choreo look good on him. However, I can see how that doesn’t translate well to singing. He seems like an ambitious person and has definitely grown as a vocalist even just within this past year. I have hope that he’ll continue to improve and clean up his skills. I’m looking forward to watching his performances for his concert live stream next week!

Ten admitted he didn't take singing that seriously until he had his knee injury and realized he should learn how to sing properly and that was around 2017 iirc. Fortunately the knee surgery went well and he hasn't missed a beat when it comes to dancing and I hope that he can get to the point understands his voice to the fullest in the same way he knows every inch of his body when it comes to dancing. I'm glad he is getting more opportunities for live singing, even though obviously this is edited and we aren't hearing raw vocals but its still probably a decent indication of where he is vocally atm. Imo its one thing to practice all day in the sm practice room, another thing when you have to sing live on stage and you have to use what you learned and for a long time ten never was consistently performing .
