This one is yours. The growth and richness of his voice excited me SO much. He's sitting on a gold mine. That is a once in a life time voice and i'm hoping he uses it more and more. Whatever he's doing he needs to keep on doing it.
Renjun and Chenle ALSO gagged me. Like I know Dreams music is actually very vocal but i'd love for them to do even more because there's a lot that people miss cos the production of their music is so LOUD and upbeat all the wonderful tones and techniques get lost with the average listener.
I also loved seeing them learn that amazing choreo. This is the first time I'm like hmmmm should i react to more of their variety stuff? I dunno why but it's like I saw them in a new light!

The footwork, the pictures, it's completely him & his wife's style. I love seeing how the Dream kids adapted to this type of dance style, their talent is just *chef's kiss* UGH

2024-12-13 08:23:03 +0000 UTCThe thing with Jisung is he sadly still lacks confidence in terms of his vocals. When he started in the company (at 11!!) he was solely interested in dancing, having already trained and danced with renowned dancers. I can see him not really being invested in developing his singing abilities at that time. Debuting at 13, his singing was okay-ish, but as the maknae and the main dancer he didn't really needed to sing. The dreamies also didn't have that many comebacks at the beginning and his voice changed drastically with each one. I'm sure it wasn't too easy adapting to that, but his interest in singing grew as well. He once mentioned Jaehyun as an role model, since he also got that deeper tone! Around 2019 people really started to notice his voice, and SM must have realized the potential of his vocals as well, as he managed to get more singing parts with each comeback since then. But yeah, he still isn't 100% confident in his own abilities, that paired with his perfectionism leads to tension and mishaps (at least in the studio / more strict settings, on-stage he seems more comfortable!) I love his voice, and really enjoyed his solo cover of IU's Heart and his Youth duet with Chenle! You could totally tell how much Jisung enjoyed the When I'm With You choreo and getting to learn it directly from Keone! He was smiling so big and already adding details to his dance, while the others struggled :D he's such a pro, ugh! His New Thing challenge is ICONIC! I seriously need him to do more challenges, because he eats them every time!

2024-12-12 20:18:08 +0000 UTCYeah I think they are honestly limited by the SM branding of NCT Dream's sound at a moment but would love a NCT Dream RnB era. I hope that's where Haechan takes his solo career but we'll see what he does in the future. NCT Dream is hilarious and also just a super cute group of friends. Just watching them bicker 24/7 is truly so entertaining, half the time they start a live for fans or something they forget the fans are there and just start screaming and debating at each other. I think you like more upbeat and game type of shows or things like mafia? If you want any reccomendations, I would love to DM you some :)

2024-12-12 20:09:56 +0000 UTCim really glad that jisung is getting to shine more because in their earlier albums he was more rap focused and didn't get much lines, but he's grown a lot more as a singer and i think his tone adds so much to their music. also their variety content is good but it's not for everybody. i personally really enjoy it because they all talk so much and their banter is really entertaining for me.
