Added 2024-11-29 12:19:21 +0000 UTCI think I'm definitely going to enjoy this more when I watch the concert cos i'll be honest whilst filming it DEFINITELY threw me off.
It's probably because I'm used to Japanese releases being a lighter tone to Korean onces but here they stayed in the vain of their usual sound which I think it's a good thing in terms of quality and out put but I would've loved more vocal heavy songs here or maybe a lighter rock sound?
I dunno but at least I enjoyed something here!
Also i'm hoping they'll add the solo songs from the tour in the next full album?!? I can't WAIT. Also I want them to do a killing voice, I have a feeling they will.

Actually the high note was Han and Chan together! Chan doing the octave higher note is what i’ve read.

I’m mainly a rock and metal guy so I love some drums and electric guitar, it’s funny that people can get excited by completely different elements in a song. Where you call out the high note that Han sings in Falling Up, I get chills from the pinch harmonic on the guitar that follows right after😂 Anyways, I appreciate the skz reactions a lot, you help me appreciate things that I wouldn’t have noticed myself:)

I always appreciate an honest reaction, unlike others who seem to like everything just to please a fandom. Anyway, I'm super excited about the special album with the concert solos BECAUSE I GOT TICKETSSSS! I'm so happy to go from watching the concert with you to seeing it live. 2024-11-30 06:46:55 +0000 UTCloved the reaction, as always! they did do more of a heavier sound here but i think most of their japanese releases are along the same wavelength. i do think you would enjoy scars (maybe, hopefully) cause the dance practice is one of my fav japanese choreo from them! also speaking about concerts, are u gonna be seeing them on this tour? 👀

2024-11-30 06:17:23 +0000 UTCthe only “new” songs on this ep were the title track, saiyan, the japanese title one, and christmas love 😂 other ones have been revealed and are osts to anime/drama, probably why the other 3 that are new are less intense and the others that have been revealed are more intense, hence the kinda intense vibe title track, so they can kinda fit all together? imo

Their newest comeback on Dec. 13 has all 8 solo tracks from the Dominate tour!! 🙌 also I think the reason why this album felt aggressive was because 2 of the songs were used as ost for an anime, but overall their Japanese releases have a different tone to them 😌

2024-11-29 18:52:55 +0000 UTCI would say Skz generally have more rock sounding japanese releases and i think that has been quite consistent on the whole apart from Your Eyes, There, and Novel which are the only softer and lighter japanese songs they have off all the albums and singles they've done lmao. Anyway, thank you for the honest reaction as always :) I'd also love to see them experiment more with different genres and possibly have a more vocally showcasing album. And yes, I need to see them on Killing Voice please!!!
