I really have NO idea why so many people ask me to react to these girls. Cos if you know me well enough by now you should know this is not my bag at all and it grates me cos I'm so honest and transparent what I like and dislike but here you go. You can stop asking now.
I am intrigued by the voices and love their energy and mature branding. I just hope good music with some sort of identity and meaning finds them but with Teddy nearby I doubt this will happen which is a shame.
I also watched the studio choom off camera and no thanks! Feels like music peaked in October cos november releases have been shocking. I think my end of year list is set now!
Irregardless It's been the best year for music no doubt. These last couple weeks have just been off.

These girls have so much potential it's such a shame to see it wasted on songs that are made to be 'hopefully' trendy. Unique visuals, unique voices, easy to distinguish the members and they're good dancers and singers. It feels like YG just tries throwing the same formula at the wall and hoping it'll stick. Honestly, MEOVV sort of reminds of Blackpink during Whistle/Boombayah, this song probably would've been a hit 8 years ago.

2024-11-24 15:39:03 +0000 UTCi have the same opinions as you when it comes to the songs. very boring and feels quite lazy too. however the members themselves intrigue me as they seem very unique and different in a sense, from their vocal delivery to their performance. just like you said, doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard to be cool. hope they get better songs that will actually make more people pay attention to them like nmixx. but teddy being in charge of this group is making me worried lol.

I definitely didn’t think you would be partial to meovv or body. It’s fun trying to predict what you will like. Thanks for reacting to them though!

2024-11-21 05:04:35 +0000 UTCwhoever recommended this prob has good intentions but i alr knew you wouldn't love their music after getting the notif you posted this LMFAOO on a side note, i'm honestly really excited for gawon (ms low voice) bc having that deep and strong tone is a bit rare for female idols. oddly enough, i'm very optimistic because even though they don't have powerful vocals, the tones are unique and aren't too cursive-esque which is always good. production can always change (and i hope it does...) but the vocals are good enough for me to stay optimistic for what's to come, even if i'm not super into the girl crush/YG/Teddy sound. I hope with the release of toxic, they'll scrap demos similar to body that does no justice for the girls' vocals.
