shieldmaidens update

okay, this one got a bit delayed. here's why. unlike something like fine print , sunstone and death vigil, achilles shieldmaidens is a curious creation

it is in a way similar to ravine. a book that kinda requires worldbuilding on a more global scale but at the same time unlike ravine i don't want to fuck it up by frontloading all that stuff . basically you're realtime watching me solve an intricate puzzle with this one XD

so, here i am mixing and matching elements figuring out the flow and while working on this one i made a big narrative decision for the next update. for the sake of a better story flow and less stacking of worldbuilding , next one will feature an update that will become the new chapter 1, while the other stuff gets pushed to chapter 2. during that one i will properly introduce you to the shieldmaidens in their current state. make you understand and maybe even like them as characters before this crazy action descends upon them.

till then the new update is just continuing on the old structure.

all the stuff so far remains mind you. it will remain as relevant as it has been so far but next one will add a chapter inbetween. till then here's some new stuff. now i'm off to death vigil, and next month if i can get the flow right i may even get ambitious and go for a triple update with sunstone, queen and woodborn and fine print. fingers crossed!
