These VOCALS were insane and it's beautiful seeing an artist that's doing music that suits them so well they seamlessly record and fly through the music whilst using different parts of their voice. And his engineer was appreciating everything he was doing so well it was a match made in heaven. I totally get it too.
He also ate the choreo, he's really a great artist with a great set of tools at his disposal.

2024-10-18 20:49:20 +0000 UTCOne of Jaehyun's actual school friends was the vocal director for Smoke and Can't Get You (he's also involved in writing Roses!), so I'm pretty sure he's the one that's hyping Jaehyun up during the recording and represented us the whole time ♥ It's crazy to think that he recorded these songs and did everything else for the album mostly at night, because he was filming a drama and also did group prepations/promotions during the day. He spoke about how he had to pretty much pack 2 days into one. He worked his butt off, DELIVERED and rather than finally resting he's enlisting .__. And blessing us with ANOTHER SONG? Not sure, if it's really some ancestors, but he's simply made for this type of music, I agree. He shines in other genres as well ofc, but his voice + R&B just hits differently. Dancer have my up-most respect, because I could never. Especially with all that counting. How do idols sing AND count their dance moves?! Crazy stuff.

And I agree with you I don’t know how these dancers come up with and remember all the moves. It’s not common in kpop now but I really feel for the idols who were not dancers or didn’t like dancing bc whewwww could not be me
