It's EERIE how similarly they sound when singing the chorus from a technical perspective and seeing as they do the same warm ups I feel like they have the same vocal lessons.
I wish they didn't rely on tension and squeeze for those chestier notes but for the stronger vocalists Jiwon and Hayoung it seems intentional so we'll see if they use other techniques in the future.
The dance practice EATS. Whoever made that choreo ATE!!! Hayoung SHINED man.

If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend listening to their “it’s live” of Supersonic it honestly blows my mind away. They also did a Npop Limited edition. That is also amazing I think you’d rlly enjoy it!! :)

2024-09-14 19:16:54 +0000 UTCI also recommend the Oh My Girl recording session for Classified....another group of great singers that actually have a pretty diverse (but within a certain range if that makes any sense) voice range (I know in the killing voice you said they all sounded very similar). Regardless, those girls are just pro singers who know their voices after 10 years in the industry.....and i think it's pretty cool it's still their CEO who's helming the desk for every recording

2024-09-14 17:28:08 +0000 UTCDon't think Jiwon was raspy....i think the key (F# minor) was literally just in that vague zone for her bt chest and head. She's said before that she likes singing songs in "Fa" (so F) like just a half dozen cents a little too high for this song (but also, you never know what kind of mic they're recording these BTS videos with so who knows how much of the audio is being compressed and whatnot)
