TAEMIN - Ephemeral Gaze Concert
Added 2024-09-02 22:36:44 +0000 UTCLet it be known, that the people who weren't happy with my reaction to his previous concert cos I called out how underwhelming it is should LICK ma balls!!!!!
THIS is what a concert experience should LOOK and FEEL like and I was made to feel as though I was being negative for no reason when I KNEW what he could do and he clearly wasn't happy and was ready to leave SM and I'm super glad he did.
Taemin is probably the only artist whose lip syncing doesn't bother me or feel low in energy for any reason, there's still something enigmatic and interesting in his movements that I'm still drawn in.
His confidence when speaking is sooooo fun, it's like seeing a new side to him. I'm so happy for him honestly, even when our tastes aren't aligning atm lol. I feel like we deserve to see Just Me and You post military but I doubt he'll do it.
Watching this made me also appreciate how distinct and broad his discography is, from the groove filled era (move, drip drop, want) to the dark synth era (criminal, idea) and now hip hop (advice, SITA).
The styling and lighting etc hit the SPOT and made everything so magical. I really had fun!

The day I went Day I one of the bleached hair guys collapsed. They were on the outer stage and got down the stairs before he dropped out of view. Security ran over and helped him. He was okay later but huge respect to the dancers... the sections were so long.

2024-11-06 11:16:22 +0000 UTC1st off ew no I'm not licking any part of you. 2nd off I was screaming and I mean SCREAMING all through Heaven don't skip through Heaven! It was so good live I texted a girl omg Taemin is so dramatic and she texted back that her other friend texted 'he really wants us to praise him'... lol you skipped it but they only had a mat where he jumped off and when he came out to talk after he said he hit his head and it hurt. Also the entrance you mostly skipped through is his new solo lightstick. SM didn't let him use the tech for the Shinee lightstick it seems so he made a circle with his T pose and that's how he enters the concert.

For me this his best concert since his jp tour so... a while. Im so happy he's taking this production around the world and also massive props to his dance crew they are IN IT !

He is a PRO! You feel every bit of the song when you watch him. It is insane that I didn't even focus on whether it was live or not. I was so immersed in it. Also, thank you for skipping. You skip exactly what I wanted to skip, so it saves me from skipping it myself

2024-09-04 19:36:28 +0000 UTCTbh I'd love to not skip but with the amount of content I have to film I have to pay attention to the main parts which I sometimes rewind when I really enjoy it so I add some time there but information like that I'm happy to find out afterwards than add extra minutes of filming an already lengthy concert.

2024-09-04 18:20:36 +0000 UTCI watched the concert live (without the skipping; how do you enjoy a concert with all the skipping lol) early Sunday morning. This was Taemin's best concert yet! I was in awe and amazed at this intricate footwork, styling and overall aesthetic of the concert. The live singing with the hand mic was everything!! I love that SHINEE showcases their vocals as a group and individually. The only suggestion I have is to not always skip the speaking parts because Taemin spoke about how happy he was and how it meaningful it was for him to have world tour, his progress as an artist from debut to now, and his love for SHINEE World. In skipping the VCR's, you missed an opportunity to really see Taemin's vision and why he named the concert Ephemeral Gaze. I hope for American tour dates to see him live! :) On a side note, I would like to see you dedicate some time to Jonghyun and discography; as a Shawol you don't have him on your page and some of his music fit's your style and taste.

2024-09-04 13:31:11 +0000 UTCrewatching this i realised like you said that taemin’s live vocals sound way better when he’s dancing while singing?? almost as if he’s such a natural dancer who moves with such grace and ease that his body just relaxes and lets him sing more powerfully and with less restraint, whereas in the ballad section he seemed so tense, as if he was nervous about the vocally challenging songs and held himself back more?? all this to say…the man was born to dance and i’m so happy he gave us so many live vocals in this concert because the energy is spectacular

Goosebumps. Also, he heard the fans and finally performed Clockwork /SCREAMING now we just need to beg him for Just Me and You…i will be joining you in prayer
