It goes to show that the album itself didn't really make an impact on me. I'd say it feels more like a laidback summer vibe for sure.
Miyeon's mini was nice and definitely had some Taeyeon vibes. I like her individuality as an artist the most and I hope she can bring another EP soon because she could pull a Nayeon and KILL it.

I feel like while the album was pretty average as a whole and not really repeatable for me, I think Shuhua had some surprisingly good vocals on some of the non-title track songs.

The vibes are basically "hear gidle do summer songs", which is what fans like myself would look forward to but would not be converting any newcomers. These were how mini albums used to be, before everything became minis You finally reacted to Miyeon's EP! I can stop bugging you about it. She is very similar to Taeyeon, even the way she sings OSTs. So, I figured you would enjoy the album at least a bit. I listened to this album a lot. As a whole, I have yet to decide if she is following Taeyon's style too closely or doing enough to put her own signature. Would need a 2nd album for that

Agree with Klaxon gidle swag most definitely propels the song. I have a question also how do you put in a fan request?? ( I don't mean to be disrespectful) I love the video!

(That being said, it seems korean audience is having a good time with it, as it is already in the top5 on all charts and steadily climbing up, never doubt Soyeon). Because I know you like melodic songs, I've come up with some gidle bsides that I think you'd enjoy (and haven't listened, at least on camera) in your free time, if you want ;) - Hear Me - Moon (well, the whole I BURN album, which is widely considered their best one) - Already Other musical content I recommend are covers they've done in the past - Abracadabra live fan meeting - That that (with a cameo of PSY himself) - Fake Love - All that jazz, I kid you not. Video quality is garbage tho.

2024-07-22 20:52:13 +0000 UTCI generally like (G)I-DLE’s summer albums the least. To me, it’s just kind of like their leftover bright pop songs packaged into a summer release. Don’t get me wrong, I still like them!! Just not as much as others haha For Miyeon’s album, it’s a nice easy listening album. Good for the background. Drive and Te Amo are definitely my favorite. I think Softly is third; I like the song starting from Junny’s full part.
