This was a pleasant FUCKING SURPRISE?!?!?!?!??!!
They may have immediately jumped UP to like my top 5 boy groups simply because they have an air of maturity and chemistry that's really refreshing and it shows amazingly in the title track mv. I also LOVE that video and the choreo.
I'm also amazed at HOW GOOD their music production is considering they're from a smaller company??? The vocals also give!
THIS is the direction I'd love them to keep going in. They feel like MEN too!!! They give men VIXX vibes, anyone else??!
Shout out to the person who convinced me to check them out again and shout out to ME for always keeping an open mind even though some on twitter genuinely think I'm evil LOL.

Their vocals are on point and I agree the production was really good. 2X is my fave by far - you know I love ballads lol. Bari Bari is cool too - I can forgive the chorus lol. The rest is not really for me but I look forward to seeing more from these folks. I can most definitely appreciate what they are giving.

But the refreshing concept suits them so well and they sound so fucking good, it's wild. They immediately shot up in the boy group rankings for me with this.

I was sad you didn’t like trouble because I knew in my heart of hearts that you would loveeee the talent concentrated in this group. Their chemistry is amazing, which makes their live stages so exciting and fun to watch!!! Not to mention they can fucking sing!! And they’re so confident because Hanbin is DEFINITELY running those dance practices like the navy. They have really cool and in depth vocal recordings and dance behinds for this EP and the previous one!!! And if I may suggest a few songs, I think you’d really enjoy Chase and K.O from their previous EP, Un:Seen. They are honestly such a one of a kind group, I’m so glad jellyfish recognized their potential and brought them together after boys planet

I was also so oddly happy when I saw Hanbin was the Dance leader cause him teaching the dances in Boys Planet might be one of my favourite parts. Jihoo did the really good limousine by bE'O cover on Boys Planet with Krystian. Wonder if you ever checked that out with actual subs for the lyrics. Commenting extra long as requested.

2024-07-21 20:17:33 +0000 UTCI think the benefit of being from a small company AT TIMES is the ability to go against the trends or easy money grabs because you lack those guaranteed sales and try something different. I think it also allows for the groups individuality to shine through since there's no big 3 or hybe formula pushing them. I'm proud of all of the Boys Planet guys for debuting (especially Keita and Jiwoong since they had already debuted before), so it's nice to see them get all the groups get some love. EVVNE, ZEROBASEONE, AMPERS&ONE, etc all deserve the hype.

2024-07-21 19:26:29 +0000 UTCAlso I guess it's because they were all boys planet contestants and thus they had a different process to build a rapport, or maybe it's down to Keita's leadership style, but their chemistry is well beyond the level of most of their peers imo and I think that contributes to their impressive stage presence! Their variety content is hilarious!

The talent concentrated in this group is insane and even though I personally prefer their louder edm style title tracks (I'm from Baltimore so I'm Hella biased towards Trouble lol), I definitely think that this title track is a better representation of their skills so I'm glad that they went in this direction. It's very fitting that you said they remind you of VIXX (one of my personal Ult-groups), because they're both under Jellyfish and there's an overlap in producers. Though I think that this was probably their strongest project in terms of overall cohesion, their first two minis are standouts in their generation to me as well! Thanks for the reaction!
