Unfortunately, that's about as exciting as it gets, thinking that as their name. Clearly MNET wants them to flop and my suspicions about how a vocal group is treated sonically were unfortunately proved correct.
The UBER safe title track mv that's not very pop leaning which is a shame because I think they should've done something like TWS/Early Seventeen, it would've done a LOT better than 7/10k sales they got, I'm happy to see Onepact are selling pretty well in comparison.
Just because people can sing very well it doesn't mean their music has to be boring and adult contemporary! CIX has some KILLER vocal songs that prove you can be trendy cool and still deliver vocals so I'm sure Seunghun is like .... Maybe I, Confession etc
We have two years to see what can be done but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

So I was quite disappointed as everyone here lol, I actually wanted something like drowning or RnB like the program actually sold us. They just went viral on tiktok for their cover "teeth" by 5sos, and is that kind of rock-pop that I wanted them to try ahfksksl

But after what they're going through with management, I hope the boys flourish whether as a group or in their own respective routes.

Like it’s okay to have your opinion but you were just straight up rude. Calling them flops, and not even finishing the songs that They worked so hard on. I for one think the songs and the album was absolutely amazing and showcased their talents really well. yes there was a lot that could have been done better with the debut but I really think by saying all these rude things you are disrespecting and discrediting their hard work.

2024-07-07 14:30:23 +0000 UTCi was also super disappointed by what they did with this debut. seeing how much talent and potential the group has and then seeing how lackluster and forgettable they made their debut is a bummer. i am trying to hold out hope that they will make enough money off their tour to bump up the production of the next release, but it seems mnet has already decided they don’t care

2024-07-07 14:14:55 +0000 UTCmnet abandoned them, and their company orca is broke and has about 3 staff members so i really don't have high expectations, i do like the songs as just decent listens but i agree for their ability it's lacklustre. everlasting miracle is also practically a Jay solo song, he genuinely sings i think 90% of the song himself which, idrk what the point of that was, Jay is my fav but just make it a solo song atp lol. mnet gave their debut nothing, the live stages are empty and they didn't even give them a spotlight of any kind on mcountdown, they performed like a regular nugu group with no stage props, performed 2nd and disappeared, I think for any real improvement they need to be moved under wakeone immediately, as much as i am a zb1 fan and people complain about wake one rightfully, wake one would provide a lot more than what orca can, in terms of promo, better music and better reach. But since build up didn't really make that much noise really outside of Jay's viral moments on tiktok they kind of just abandoned the group, it's a real shame
